Aside from getting them from the good ole sharky...why is it I never see these ingame? I see the mask all the time, but it's like the greaves are completely non existent O_o
If your server is anything like ours, your NA players can't beat it, so that eliminates a good portion of the playerbase.
Next, those that can beat it, these shoes are only wearable by... 6 jobs.
Of those 6, they're only good for 1/2 of them. None of them being MNK.
So, you'll see plds have them in tp sets (no one plays pld).
So, you'll see them possibly on bsts, but bst is only good for dynamis, and those that do dynamis on bst won't have them.
So, you'll see them on drgs, drg still has a wicked stigma and only 1 per shout, no one generally mains drg anymore after years of loldrg.
So, that is basically why you never see them.
Also, Cizin/Huginn/etc/etc are better in a lot of cases.
The only time you're really going to see them is on "Elite Statues".
And the reason you see the mask all the time is because MNK wears it, and everyone thinks they're good at MNK so they hopped on the Oatixurbandwagon (protip most are terrible and only have what they have because they paid for it, or leeched a win).
Another potential factor: no Store TP. Important mod for the mostly 2-hander melee jobs that are on it.
I'd imagine that there are a lot of people you're overlooking that have this but use it only as a WS piece.
Ah so there's a chance they have it, but use it in their ws and then turn back before I even realize it.
Makes sense.
