k it's even worse then I thought. It seems to stack additively with actually attack down. So like let's say I have 110 at lvl 30 (I do btw) then if it's -40% like I think that means my normal before the built in -att would 183. So let's say I get -50% att from acid mist that would be -90% of the 183 or 18... which just comfirmed yes acid mist's -50% att does drop me from 110 att to 18 <.< Guess I'm going to have to rework where I lvl since triple bats will keep me at rediculously low att. Basically if you threw a bio on me too I'd litterally have 0 att.
Forums are monstrously laggy. But yah, I'd recommend filling out the bug report thing (they're going to ask you too) otherwise this thread won't be submitted as a bug report. Its in one of the stickies.
Beyond that, got my upvote, The fact its an additive stack is absurd, Chigoes have no TP moves, they shouldnt have nerfed attack.
Lately they seem to have been ignoring these anyways. Just more update after more update and ignore everything broken. But yeah I mean I can see no tp moves as compensation for the slightly increased attack speed... but 40% att down that's just rediculous. I litterally can't lvl on triple bats or leeches because my hits will go from 70-80 to 0-20
i think it might be a family trait sadly, scorpions have 20% bonus to attack for instance. Now i sills ay this family is a trail to get to 60 would not even attempt without some serious instincts under your belt, at 45 it becomes an easier pill to swallow if you got the 3 earth dmg + instincts and a few int ones and you can start crushing mobs with 250-400 stone 2s(sadly nest mobs a little resistant to earth spells).
I'm fairly certain its a Specie trait as well, Since every mob family has some bonuses % Applied to Attack or Defense (likely acc/eva too but harder to check). But Chigoe are the first I've found that have a Negative % value applied, and by a large 40%.
Having a 40% Attack nerf that stacks additively with other Attack downs makes the mob painfully useless couple with the fact it has no TP moves. I think, despite it being a specie trait, That it should either be removed or lessened to 20%. Chigoes have no TP moves, this In itself should make up for their bonus attack speed, I don't think an Attack nerf was really needed =x, and its quite crippling for monsters.
its kinda funny the normal monster might actually have it to, but because monster ratio cant go below 1.0 we would never know it. Also not trying to argue its a good monster family it isn't especially for melee even without the attack penalty its str vit and hp growth are pathetic, maby drop that penalty to 20% and make the base family thf/war, as is, untell you can become a blm, get rdy to grind your heals because beetles pld/pld is going to kill like life in the fast lane in comparison.
ps isnt there also a green skin for chigoes maby there is some hope to eventually get a rdm out of this family >.>;
Yeah it probably is a species thing but it's horribly unjustified. I mean with litterally the exact same instincts my scorpion is rocking 600 att and my chigoe is rocking 200 at 60ish.... oh and my scorpion gets ya know things like death scissors and 15 other moves eventually. How is a huge penalty justified on a mob that already has weak stats and can't use it's tp when all the others have at least some decent tp moves and higher stats and att buffs?
More importantlly stacking additively is just plain ludicrous. I mean that makes the leeches -50% att move actually drop your att by 83.33%... and then would make the -10% from bio 2 actually take your att to 0 making it litterally impossible to deal any physical dmg to anything without critting.
Seems like some kind of huge oversight. Stuff that 3 other monsters i could kill 2 at once at lvl 50 I'm wiping to at lvl 54 one vs one
