Do you think they're going to move this game off, of the theme park ? mmo style ?

So far lately. All the new content, Its' been moving to a sandbox mmo. That a good thing for the next decade . and I been noticing from a lot of my friends that never played other mmo's .They like wtf going on. It about keeping the servers full that a reason doing what there doing now. I still think it costs money to run the servers and have people looking over them, since people do not want this to be free to play.

People get board and at times and grinding same thing over and over. While waiting for new content and people get board , But once sandboxed it then the players can do what ever they want to when waiting for content, instead of moving to other games.

That is why a lot people like pvp in the open world. Kill others instead of same mob over and over and like to push the areas that the developers never had thought someone could jump to or other ways. When it in the game.

You take off the rails and with right people you make new ones , or Just go for it. And there should be the roadblock from time to time.

FFXIV is taking a lot of people ,

This game you take 20%+ of your server populations is just mules and take another 10%+ duel boxers not many on it anymore. Maybe 5% rmt left thank god.

less people = cheaper servers to maintain. either way they will continue developing content for those who choose to play. this game is still making a profit.
