Pflug and Hidden intimidation effects..?
I've been fighting in Toraimara Canal solo for a few levels and was getting tired of being slowed by pugils so I put up double Flabra for earth resistance and triggered Pflug. With Pflug active I noticed in three fights in a row I intimidated both bats AND pugils without changing runes - just 2x Flabra in both cases.
I am not using any gear which grants either vermin or aquan killer, and I am subbed dnc, so nothing from that. Food is just plain ol' grilled hare, so.. Somehow I proc'd an intimidate on an Aquan and Vermin in separate fights, so I'm thinking maybe there's some sort of sneaky hidden intimidate proc attached somehow to some ability or element, perhaps? Also, I'm level 62 for reference.
Anyone else noticed similar? I've gone over my food, gear, and traits multiple times and can't figure any reason, only change in the last few levels is I started using Pflug to avoid Slow and it definitely feels like something is up. Could be a neat little tidbit!
Edit: As a thought.. Perhaps Flabra = wind = birds, therefore, aquan killer.. but not sure what would give vermin by that logic? It'd have to be lizards, somehow, if that was the case.
Edit edit: Didn't have Pflug active and intimidated a Pugil right before it died.. I did still have Flabrax2 active, though. This did happen right after I hit 62, but I noticed no new job traits. Still feel like there's something weird going on, I fought pugils from 60-62 via regimes and never intimidated anything, so..
