Cant Cancel Rune Elemental after use

I was subbing with dnc eariler, and found out that rune and samba doesnt stack, I know there is another forum on this, and when I was casting Samba, I wanted to cancel out the Rune Elemental icon, but it can not be canceled like spells such as shell or protect, thoses you can cancel, this you can not, so while running low on hp and rune is in use, drain wont work until the rune elemental icon wears off naturally since it cant be forced cancel.

Would be nice if you can forcefully cancel the effect like protect,etc.
