Other ways to spend merits please

Heyo I am often 30/30 on merits for weeks at a time because I don't have many jobs I want to level and merit. So how about other ways to spend them?

FoV/GoV maybe we could get a way to spend a merit or two for slightly higher level buffs from the books? (just for that use, not a permanent modification to future buffs)

*Or how about being able to buy up to two levels of prowess from GoV from any prowess category, with merits? (just for the time you're in that zone, not for future GoVs) That would be lovely. :cool:

Or how about being able to recharge your 1hr+2hr by using all 30 merits? (For those people who have absolutely nothing else to buy with merits)

Those are great ideas, I often wondered if they could add a boxing ring or something (doesn't even have to be an actual thing it can just be a text based refrence and then the screen goes blank for a few seconds, then returns to game) were we could turn in merit points for gil.
