transferable items

i recently won my last black belt item from the mog bonanza... cept i won it on my mule and can send it to my main account where i need it. Why is it that i cant transfer this rare/ex object to my main... which i pay for... from my mule... which i also pay for? The GM i talked to suggested i post this suggestion on this website so here i am. Can i get some feedback as to why or how sending blackbelt items from a mule to my main would break the game? The GM i talked to was very polite... even though i did give him a bit of a hard time... his name is GM Baudle... and i want to point out that i do appreciate any help i can get on this matter and that he did a good job talking me through this process. i hope that after 10years of sinking money into this game that you guys can do me a solid.
