Signed Synergy

Hello everyone,

It has perked my attention that there is something that SE hasn't implemented yet.
(yeah yeah ppl can make a 20 pages list lol)

Anyways, it would be awesome if we can sign our synergy work. I'm pretty sure that more than one has been asked to augment/build stuff for our friends. So, it would be a great part of the deal if after getting them some cool status to their gear we could sign our piece of art. :cool: (like after 100+ tries lol).

There are probably some concerns about party related sign rules, so I came up with some ideas that ppl are more than welcomed to review and improve:

1. (Simplest one) You handle the furnace, you sign: Normally there is a lot of work that involves only one synergy-player and the client/friend. So after getting done with the synergy process and the client/friend is happy with the results, before taking the object out of the furnace would be cool to add a menu asking the synergy player to sign the work.

2. (Complex one) Party consensus sign: When the synergy involves more than one crafters or synergy players, people involved will have the sign menu on their screens, but only one will be able to press "yes", after that is done all other ppl on pt will be asked if they agree if that person will leave a signature on the synergy final product.

3. (Complex one) Multi-Sign: This seems the most unlikely since is probably hard to add multiple signatures on a single object (system related/ffxi code core) But just implies that everybody but the client/friend will be able to left a signature on the final product.

Synergized and crafting gear just flat out need to be stronger

That's the most logical fix, it would take SE minimum effort to add this.

Well, if you want R/E gear signed you'd have to change Portafurnaces to be claimable by members of your party, but otherwise it would be dead simple. Portafurnace is pretty useless otherwise, considering.

Signing gear that someone else crafted, be it an NPC or PC craft. Could just craft said gear and sign it, then augment it (I'm pretty sure you can do that now.). R/E gear shouldn't be sign-able. Just because some gear can be augmented, Shouldn't give us the right to sign something we didn't craft.

If a person crafted said gear; Cft;<username>
If a person augmented said gear; Aug;<username>

We could change the signatures system to that; See above, But it would be a waste of man hours then it's worth. I mean Synergy doesn't take much to level up as it is and I feel it would also be taking something away from the craftier.
