Did a a weaponskill Upheaval comparison between the Widowmaker and the Tavatimsa (TP Bonus). These weaponskill used 100% - 120% TP against the Soot Crabs in Zeruhn Mines. The results were the followng:

Conclusion:
This comparison could still need more data, but still.....From the looks of it, the Great Axe TP Bonus path may not be worth obtaining. The benefit shown is pretty minimal.
