The old update of zoing getting rid of buffs.

Can someone please explain why this even took place? I do not see how entering BCNMs or whatever the lame excuse it was big enough 'abuse' to have this update. It is very annoying on SCH and BRD because on brd I have to worry about "Can't cast Mazurka because I will zone in 10 seconds and have to reapply it but can't because of recast timer."

Now because how the game is with how you get to mobs and such, it affecting SCH is not as much. When I leveled in the old days since SCH was new around this update came out, I annoyed me to no end. Example:

Trigger light arts to cure someone

Zone

Light arts is gone and we go to a new fight right away

3 fights later, oh I forgot to re-use light arts because when the first fight started light arts was not ready -.-

1. Why did this update take place?
2. Why does it even exist now with the game how it is? It is just annoying because how some things are (Or how about resetting petty job ability recasts (anything 5 minutes or less) and recast timers when zoing since you took the buffs away? -.-)

Then there was missing the fun of casting different tele spells with chainspell, now you can only do it once -.-

It is kinda annoying that buffs wear upon zoning, yeah. I don't know what the reasoning behind that is.

It is however completely unrelated to battlefields where buffs wear. You don't zone when entering most battlefields, and in the case of a buff wipe, these also wipe more buffs than zoning does, so it's not the same function.
