Issues using Test Server without expansion Access on account

I am currently accessing the Test Server using an FFXI Steam install that has all four expansions and all six add-ons installed, however the account I am using does not have any of those expansions or add-ons registered.

In large part I am able to use the test server without issue - including, oddly enough, the ability to use expansion-dependant Jobs such as Dancer.

However, when I attempt to warp to an expansion location using the Test Moogle, what occurs is the moogle states he is teleporting me, performs the relevant animation, and the screen, aside from the UI, fades to black - but my character never changes location. I am still able to target and speak with the moogles despite not being able to see them, the mog house background, or myself. (This does mean I can then talk to the moogle again and have him teleport me to a location I CAN access.)
