Would it be possible to have a phone app that allowed you to view your friends list to see who's online and send messages? I know that not many ffxi features are compatible with apps cause the game is so old but I figured seeing as the friends list and messages are playonline features that it might be possible to update them for app compatibility.
Is there anything specific you'd like to see in an app for ffxi? Just the friends list, or what? I'd like to be able to send my friends text messages ingame, and also the obligatory gross porn.
Well basically I just was thinking sometimes I only really want to play with a friend so with an app like that I could see if they're online and decide if I should log on, and sometimes something comes up so you can't log on and you could send em a last minute message saying I can't come on today. It's just a simple suggestion cause the game isn't really made for app compatibility but if it was, i'd say an app to use the search function and send tells to anyone would be cool or a linkshell chat app or things like that which just let you communicate with people in game from your phone.
