My question is if I were to delete any items my character has on him from the public server do my public server character loses the items as well? Sorry if it's a stupid question but I want to sure not to mess up my character.

If you're asking if you delete something on the test server will it affect your real char? No. Once you sign up for the current test server your char is copied as it is, and then they become separate entities. So feel free to toss anything on the test server.
Thanks now I can start testing once I delete some space out on my inventory.
Changes made to a test character don't reflect on your normal one.
What you bring from normal to test, seems to be most of what you get.
