There are some annoying little CSs in the game that we should get the option of turning off.

CSs to get past the gate to get onto boats/airships are the devil. The only purpose they serve is to watch it float/fly away right before you can get on it.
These are swear moments. I'd like them gone.
Also, the Port Bastok drawbridge. Grrrrrrrrrr.....
I love the Ru'lude Gardens elevator. It's a blatant timesink and a strike against setting HP in Ru'lude.
hey guys, a bit of a news flash. It is a final fantasy game. Small CS are sort of, a ff thing. These last no more then 10 seconds -1 min. Not something to complain about really.
I don't recall another FF game where I had to watch the same CS 1000 times. The little CSs were fine once, and the OP has asked for an option to turn them off, which I would do after enjoying them once. As usual, you're oversimplifying. The situation is not the same.
I didn't say I hated the opinion. I just find it silly to complain about a 10 -1 min cs that chances are you gonna go afk from anyway. I use that time to get a drink or walk around. So there is ur option.
To be honest I'm shocked it took this long for this thread to be typed. lol.
As long as the ps2/ 360 can get it as well (prob not) then cool.
I'm sure we all have ways of dealing with the issue. I haven't actually stared at the screen foaming at the mouth a thousand times. My problem isn't your opinion to keep this CSs required, it's the idea of justifying their existence as defining parts of the series.
FFxiv has the option of skipping through these types of CSes. Bring that here.
And while you're at it, Square, could you please bring the adventurer's log that allows you to view any CS you personally seen? That would be greatly appreciated.
Guys remember this is a 10 year old MMO. This was back in SE's heyday, around FFX, when long random animations and cutscenes were in. I think the thinking was that they add character and depth to the game's world. It's also much more appreciated in Japan, where they don't mind dramatic cutscenes for useless stuff, or extra random animation for random stuff.
Remember that they're fixing a ton of things; I don't know if they'll ever eliminate these cutscenes, but if they do, there's a ton of stuff I'd rather them fix first. And I'm sure they want to fix some more glaring issues first.
