Does this mean that PS2 users won't be getting certain portions of the UI overhual? Is there even plans to bring new UI elements to the PS2?

hmmmmm....

PS2 will never get overhauls because the system is too old and doesn't have the proper software or space for overhauls unless it's neccassary, I believe.

No. Also, who cares?

PS2 will get NO portions of the UI change. XBOX 360 will get some, PC will get them all.

The main UI update is for PC, Icons and such that can be done inside of the current UI for Xbox, nothing for PS2, thats what I think is goin on with it.

Makes sense, thats what I was thinking for the most part. I'm glad to see some changes to make things more visual. Less time focusing on ps2 updates means development can spend more time working on the other 2 platforms.
