Steps:
While in Ru'Aun Gardens killing elementals for Clusters, i hit 2 Flamingo's with my Weaponskill Cataclysm (staff = Vayu's Staff +3 with Avatar perp -6). I was using Garuda. Garuda's Hp was down to about 1/4 and my Mp was about 200 so i decided to use Astral Flow and Aerial Blast.
I used my 2 macro's to use the blood pact
1: use astral flow
/echo "Astral Flow Are you sure? /target <stpt> /ja "atral Flow" <me>
2: use the blood pact
/echo "Aerial Blats" are yuo sure? /target <stpt> /pet "Aerial Blast" <stnpc>

The log stated "Garuda Readies Aerial Blast"
Garuda started the animation for when using a Blood Pact but did not perform the blood pact (no aerial blast animation, no damage caused to any of the 3 mobs and no "miss"). I tried to use the blood pact macro again but the timer for the blood pact was reset (as if i had used the blood pact)
Once the timer for the blood pact had zero'd i tried again with the same results:
log stating garuda readies aerial blast - start of animation - no aerial blast animation - no damage to any mob or miss - blood pact timer counting down
I tried a third time with same results, shortly after 3rd attempt garuda died and i followed swiftly after.

Due to time i logged out after home pointing.

After Logging Back in after some sleep i tried to test this fault in Rolanberry Fields
I summoned gaurda, used assault on a bee then retreat once claimed i then manualy selected astral flow and aerial blast from the command menu. Same results as before.
When i could i selected aerial blast again i used it, this time the BP activated and killed the bee. I then decided to try a diffrent Avatar.
I released garuda, summoned shiva and used Dimond Dust (all through the command menu) on the closest Goblin.
Same Results as with garuda- reading animation (and log) but no BP animation, damage or miss. After retreating shiva and seconds to spare on astral flow i was able to use dimond dust a 2nd time, this time it activated and killed the goblin.

i plan to test this further but as of yet only 2/7 times has the astral flow BP actualy gone off ( i should probily note there was no "you are too far way" message, every time i used a blood pact i (and the avatar) was within melee range of the mobs)
