Confusion over wording in job update posts

It seems like they always put "No longer Reduces casting time" even for job abilities. Obviously ( at least to me lol) they are referring to the recast time. It just seems odd they use that wording. The biggest thing I've seen that has caused confusion from it is the SMN update for the summoning magic cast time thing. I dunno maybe it's just me or they are just directly translating it. It would seem , to, once again, me at least, that it would benefit the player base if they used more MMO terminology or at the least use correct terminology pertaining to the subject matter. Anywho, what do you guys think ?

I think it's just a typo and doesn't actually cause confusion because we can all tell what it really means.
