Dynamis Update: Yea or Nay?

Since there's a thread on here that seeks to have a petition formed against the Dynamis update, and that poster wishes to restrict discussion of the matter, I feel it appropriate to create this thread rather than bombarding the existing thread.

Personally, I think opposing the Dynamis Update at this stage is premature. And I think if you're going to oppose it, you need have make your reason clear other than "I just don't like it." Here are my reasons why I think an update to Dynamis is a welcome addition:

1) Any addition that allows more people freely participate is a good thing to me.

2) Allowing people to only have to buy one key item once to enter does A LOT of good. Obviously, it saves gil, but it also takes some of the power out of Dynamis LS. No longer would you need a "Dynamis Bank" to store gil and have to forfeit currency in order to fund runs. Now you can disperse spoils to everyone a lot easier. I take issue with Dynamis Shell leaders becoming tyrants who oppress those lower on the totem pole and have a tremendous sense of self-entitlement.

3) Less cool-down time to enter = easier to get your relics, synth materials, and zone wins for those who need them. I don't see how you could possibly oppose this, unless the thought of people being able to get things that took you longer to get upsets you. Stop being so selfish; such thoughts only hold back game progress.

4) We haven't even given it a chance yet. If it happens and things appear to be really negative, then an appeal to return Dynamis back to what it once was is understandable.

So yeah, those are a few things I can think of that support such updates. Dynamis needs some rejuvenation, and SE looks like they're going in the right direction with it. But please, feel free to discuss your thoughts, whatever they may be.

False accusation. In my petition I was clearly pointing the thread.

I very apologize if you missed it, and i thanks you for taking time to read the post, you might find pretty much all information you looking for, and i also /welcome you to add any missing question/feeling about it.

I'm not trying to be predatory, but your thread does explicitly state that you do not wish for a list of reasons. And I respect that, which is why I created this thread instead of posting in yours. That said, I am grateful that you linked to the DEV thread in this thread as well as yours. This thread is not intended to talk to the developers, however, and is merely for people to state their opinions. I feel it'd make sure that the DEV thread doesn't get filled up with too many posts that aren't targeted at them.

I suggest using a site like http://www.petitiononline.com/ if you wish to create a petition for something without people arguing points. It can also be used to make those who sign anonymous.

But your thread is like beating a dead beef, we already talked about what we like and hate form this update, (you already can find all the info in 'dev1000 Dynamis Reborn!')

Is reason i did the petition, where people can actually voice they self without have to ague anymore.

To be honest with you, see MOD do jack nothing in this, is like see them taking part in this trolling. We have 1 free week if not even more with whats going on in japan, as much sympathy i have for them, it might just best time to reconsider the game.

But hey, i thanks you and other for making our decision more easy.

People still want to talk about it, and despite links to the thread, no one's replying in it anymore. If anything, I'm trying to get people to not post their arguments in your thread and post in this one instead. Sorry if that bothers you.

It's not really the best time for anything game related right now. They have their hands full, and it's an extremely difficult situation. I for one am donating my monthy subscription fee to the cause. But I digress.
