Most EXP-giving high level monsters. Maat tells you this.

You have to kill lv100+ mobs to get any decent drop rate. I spent 2 and a half hours killing DC-T's around the globe before I jumped to Gustav Tunnel to kill worms and turtles to see 3 stones drop in about 15 minutes. Which btw thanks for this SE, instead of being congested at arenas, we're basically congested at a couple high level camp spots. It was amusing though, I'll give it that. I doubt the JP are amused. Last night I faced 40ish people. Right now they are facing nearly 100.... and it was difficult to claim mobs last night.

Got quite a few in a short amount of time in B. Tree. After we got the three we needed, managed to sell a few for 200k each

Maat lies. :)

DC-EMs definitely do drop them, but at a very low rate. The higher level the monster, the better your chance.

Also, seems like Abyssea is a no-go.
