on the test server i was attempting to unlock the dagger and sword weaponskills on level 99 red mage after changing jobs from level 99 puppetmaster, and after i went through the various menus confirming the merit point adjustments, nothing would happen
i have attempted changing areas, logging off, changing jobs, adding/removing merit points elsewhere and the merit point adjustments for weaponskills will not take effect
Go talk to the moogle in Ru'Lude.
i'm aware of that now, i didn't notice the announcement for it earlier today and i had weaponskills merited already which made it confusing.
that said, there is currently no error message or anything when you attempt to apply merits to weaponskills without the appropriate quest, everything proceeds as normal but without any effect, which is confusing to say the least
Same issue here. It should say "You do not meet the requirements to merit this weaponskill" or something along those lines.
