is there a way

Is there a way to transfer my Gil from my characters on FFXI to my characters on FFXIV. i want to stop playing on FFXI because i am playing on FFXIV. please let me know.

The short answer is this would unfair to people starting XIV with no background in FFXI.

At one time early in the project's development they were actually kicking that idea around, but they scrapped it when they decided it would be infeasible to implement or something like that

(They actually wanted to connect the two worlds in some rudimentary way... it could have been quite interesting actually)

i would just be transfering my gil from one character to another, it's not like i would be buying Gil from the gil sellers.

Regardless, the answer is no. You can't transfer anything from FFXI to FFXIV aside from your name, if they still offer that. Basically you could opt to make your name "Madinor Bahamut" if you wanted to. I'm not sure if that's still being done, though.

Not just from one character to another but from one GAME to another. >_>

Find someone who wants will trade FFXI gil for FFXIV gil about the only way your going to be able to do that.

lol. I want the other way around. My FFXIV char has like 200 million gils made through shard/crystal bazaaring the first 3 months, and I won't play it before at least one year.

I found it easier to make money in FF XIV. You sure you want to transfer money from XI to XIV?
