Helix duration does not scale properly for /SCH

ISP: Optimum Online
Type of Internet Connection: Cable
Internet Connection Speed: 15Mbps
Date & Time: Oct. 28, 2011
Frequency: Every time (tried x 4)
Character Name: Foldypaws
Race: Mithra
Main Job: RDM95
Support Job: SCH
Area and Coordinates:
Party or Solo: Solo
NPC Name: None
Monster Name: Beach Bunny, Sand Lizard
Steps:

1) Set /SCH 47 as subjob
2) Cast helix on the mob.
3) Helix spells will last only 30s, despite helixes gaining a duration boost to 60s at SCH 40.
4) I repeated the test 4 times with different mobs.
5)I confirmed that as SCH47, helix duration was 60s without Dark Arts.

They said ages ago Light Arts and Dark Arts buffs would be for mainjob SCH only.

Yes, but it was also as /sch. Only SCH gets the duration bonus with Dark Arts up. Unless I'm missing something?

No, it's not what he's missing. I think he's saying that the duration increase only applies to main SCH, and for non main SCH, it's always 30s.

There are two separate boosts to helixes: one based on level (which affects duration), and one based on whether or not Dark Arts is up (which affects damage and duration).

The bug report is about the former being not present on /sch, when nothing has been mentioned about it being specific to SCH-main. (The Dark Arts boost is specific to SCH-main, but isn't being tested here.)

Exactly correct. The level based thing is either a bug, in which case it needs to be fixed, or intended, in which case they should say that it only works for SCH main.
