Again? They were viable at one point?
I'd say they were viable when people were using the 4 man alliance method to increase drops...
Something needs to be done about alexandrite drop rate or maximum needed though.
I'm going to throw a few ideas out there:
all enemies can drop alexandrite
all gear/s can drop a cotton purse.
all NM's have 100% of cotton purse.
each boss has 100% of linen purse.
::estimated effect:: original-70 alex avg new-240 alex avg, overall change- +140 alex a run.
about the same as a currency run in dynamis for the same # of people.
cut the number of alexandrite needed down a lot, say 10,000 and keep drop rate the same.
for the same # of people, a relic could be completed quicker than just the alexandrite portion of mythic.
I am assuming 3-4 competent people in each situation and slightly bad luck with white proc in dynamis.
These are just a few ideas, so what do YOU think should be done, let's not let mythic stay buried. Discuss it, let's get their attention since they didn't even mention it in their plans.
