Magian 95 weapons

Just wondering how people felt about the 95 staffs getting such huge upgrades (+5% DMG) where as the the other elemental weapons got nothing except some DMG +

For Example

Pet Mab staff got no +MAB
Phy dmg -% weapons got no +phy dmg -%

While i can understand the mage staffs are the main content in magian weapons for Mages(excluding SMN :( ) i don't think it's fair that SE added nothing to the weapons except some + DMG when the cost is the same (even +1 pet MAB or -1% Phy dmg would of been an improvement)

Imo it just feels SE rushed the 95 weapons by not even going through the other elemental weapons

Other elemental weapons don't really need much more they're already some of the best choices in slot for dual wielders. MAB staff is the second best nuking staff for avatars in the game only surpassed by Nirvana. PDT weapons are fine as they are/for 2handers they have better options depending on situation.

almost all jobs got nothing of value on the 95 tier of weapons aside from +dmg. longbow was +1 to a base stat, and sword was the same thing. i'd like to suggest that se at least give the elemental path weapons their own color. it'd be nice to see my fire path longbow was actually red, or my mab gun actually a light blue. i'm sure it'd be nice to see the purple of the mages' thunder weapons or even the brown of earth path swords. maybe some of us would start certain paths just to get a weapon in our favorite color.

The stats are very poor on some Weapons and the "price" actually not rly worth any effort. Its sad to see that SE didnt rly focused on the Upgrades and just did a more or less thinking about it, at least it seems this way.

The emp. weapons arnt to bad in choice, i dont think its wrong to get a higher amout of items needed for an upgrade. But same here as on the Magian Weapons, the stats u get in return to our effort are to small. Even u can buy the upgrades, which only drops from Woe or the new Voidwatch Paths Highlv Mobs to which not all people have even access to, its not rly a balance here between the effort and the resualt we get.

Huh? For some jobs elemental weapons gave them options they didn't have before besides random augments, see Smn and Pet:MAB staff and Bst with Pet: Evasion/PDT axes. Rng could make a PDT bow if they wanted, Sam gets an upgraded Hagun, Nin/Blu/Dnc can get evasion weapons etc., Some trial weapons were the best in slot for some jobs depending on situation.

We take about the upgrades from 90 to 95. Not about actually new paths they added and which u have mostly start from the basic again to get access for it.

Str Kila is one of dnc/thf/brd's best offhand weapons, dex if you need accuracy for w/e reason, same for blu/those two other jobs if dual wielding, Eva offhand is a fair choice for dnc/nin, I could go on but even with the minor upgrade they received they're still some of the best weapons for the slot depending on what you use it for.

i think you're missing the point.

str kila at 90 is dmg 43 del 190 str +9 atk +20
str kila at 95 is dmg 45 del 190 str 10 atk +20

and every other elemental path magian weapon recieved 1~2 bas damage and +1 attribute (str/int/vit/agi~etc)
from my understanding, the OP is wishing these weapons were more in line with the magian staves in regards to increase to power, VS their previous levels.

the fact that PET Mab/atk staves gain 2 base dmg to the staff and 1 int/str which doesnt benefit the pet at all says these arent worth upgrading.

So basically, you want an already strong option to be even better?
