So i was playing FFxi earlier and logged about 15min before update, waited until about 2:45 and tried to do update.
First problem was an error about HDD error code: 1154 or 1155 can't remember.
Then it said i needed to install ffxi again so now everytime i try to start ff up it brings me to install but keeps saying failed and i can't get past it.
No idea what the problem is and am wondering if anyone else has this issue or any idea how to fix?
I'd try the Check file under the POL main screen first. I know this is kind of the generic answer but it can be helpful. Especially as opposed to reinstalling the whole game which seems to be what it's asking you to do.
For some reason i can't even reach that screen. It keeps putting me at Install screen no other option available.
So Playonline doesn't even start?! Wow! I have no suggestions for that one! Sounds like you might have to reinstall from scratch... :/
