Just posting for your reference. Maybe some people affected by this can be compensated.

I doubt people will be compensated, but hopefully the charges won't happen anymore. I think it's simply an error on C&B's end where people's banks consider them a foreign company, which they shouldn't be since they do have a US branch. If they can funnel the charges properly through the US part of the company, then people's banks shouldn't charge the international fee anymore.

The only reason I say that is because they're asking anyone who is being charged to contact them. I'd consider it at least a slight possibility.

You're right though, it's probably just a matter of where the transactions are being routed.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm happy to see that SE is indeed paying attention to the player base regarding all the problems with the new payment options.

Hey, that's awesome that they're actually going to be putting a stop to this. I'm going to go ahead and follow their link and see what happens.
