When you enter the dreamworld dynamis, there is a spot you can check right at the start called "Sominal Threshold" Its just a spot on the ground near the entrance you can target and click on.
Upon entering your SJ will be automatically set to lvl0, during this "mode" you will be eligible for drops that "enhance relic and relic+1 equipment" So basically, if you do not select the thing to have your subjob restriction lifted( i.e. back to its normal level) then you get cooler drops.
You can however, switch from the lvl0 subjob to the fully lvl'd subjob at any time during the run.
You cannot switch back. So you can not grab your SJ at the start, run around and get the TE's, and then switch back to farming mode with lvl0 subjob.
Does it activate subjobs for the entire party/alliance? Or is just person by person?

No subjob better drop rate on relics and relics -1?
and subjob drop rate is lot less on relics and relics -1?
Because I've tried it with both and not noticed much in the way of drop rate.
"Materials necessary to upgrade relic armor" sounds like the -1 armor drops necessary to upgrade from NQ to +1. But reducing access to those semes rather silly to me, as most relic armor is only good until the level 78 cruor armor, if at all.
But "upgrading relic +1 armor" sounds like something new, perhaps some sort of magian trial. Which would make them non-storable, but some people seem OK with that.
Anyway, I assume that the support job thing will also be tied to clearing the zone, much as it is currently.
Yeah its for new drops. They have not yet been added as far as I know. Also not really interested in spending a ton of time farming on the tester server. Each person much individually select whether or not they use a SJ, its unclear how lifting this restriction on some players but not others in the same pt/ally will effect drops.
