Waking Beasts Atma?

At the moment there isn't much incentive for players to take on this quest…
i know only a lot of major accomplishments are accompanied with an atma upon completion. I think that this quest should have an atma for completing it, as it isn't the easiest to complete either. I'm mostly making the suggestion because though i'd like to complete the quest just to get it done, other people don't see a reason to do it :(

i had an idea for the atmas effects:

Same element as day bonus (Superior) - Maybe something like 30-50% damage bonus for same element as the day.
Same element as day affinity + (Major) - +5~10 affinity to the same element as day (MACC/MATK/Avatar perpetuation cost) and obviously it would have the negative effects for the opposing element.

For the last i wasn't sure what would make sense or create balance, but i was thinking:
Refresh + (Minor) 3-5 MP probably or MP - (Major) same amount reduced as with Atma of The Ultimate or maybe more?

I came up with a couple of names also to help get the ideas rolling for the dev team if they think my idea is even worth it:

Atma of The Fan-Tailed Fox or Atma of the Fanned-Tail Fox
Atma of Rainbows or Atma of The Rainbow
Atma of The Sleeping Gods
Atma of The Waking Beast
Atma of The Searing Ruby
Atma of The Primes
Atma of The Cloisters
Atma of Trials

If not give an atma to add incentive to do this mission, maybe make the items acquired better to scale with the level increase.

Wading Beasts? Or Waking the Beast?

It's a difficult fight with very little in the form of a reward, but it makes little sense to make an atma just because it's not done a lot. A good atma, no less...

Unlike the Ashu Talif fights... those actually have usefull items with lots of people interested (but few who do it because everyone wants to sell the attachments rather then give them to the PUP.)

i know what you're saying it is silly to add a atma for the quest :/ i don't see how else i'll ever get it done since i can't find anyone to go because there's no meaningful reward ;;

The same as with any other obscure quest: beg, bitch or bribe. There's bound to be a few others on your server, so try posting on server forums and write down names.

The whole quest line is so typical of oldschool FFXI quests: having to do six, difficult, remote BCNMs that have 0 rewards to be able to access a 7th BCNM that gives random, largely subpar drops. As with many FFXI battlefield events, I like the concept, but the difficult was so out of whack for the rewards that I never saw anyone try this a few weeks after it came out.
