Ultimate Weapons for Level 99 !

I'm was thinking the other day that next Logical Step for Relic's, Mythic's and Empyrean's is to Trade them make an Ultimate Weapons for Level 99. In Order to access this trial you would have to trade your Relic or Mythic PLUS its Empyrean counter part Plus some unspecified number of Dynamis currency if a Relic Weapon is traded or Alex's if it's an Mythic weapon. This would create new found interest in Dynamis and Salvage ( Though Salvage is in Desperate need of an overhaul )
Example of The Great Axe Ultimate Weapon
DMG: 195-197
STR +20-25
Acc +40-50
WeaponSkill: Access to some sick 99 WS + Metaron Torment + Ukko's Fury

If the Mythic is traded You get Occasionally attack 2-4 Times.
If The Relic is traded You get Occasionally Damage is 3x-5x.

Also The Weapon would freaking Glow and Have a different Look for crying out loud. I'm getting tired of looking at my Bravura its so plain looking.

Anyone else think this is a possibility?

A) Way too overpowered
B) I'm pretty sure many relic/mythic wep holders would much rather just have good upgrades on their own wep rather that have to trade it in
C) It would be counter-productive to everything the dev team is planning to do to create balance between relics mythics and empyreans

Again this is 99 not 95 and so we better be getting new more powerful enemies to beat on so we will need new overpowered weapons to own there worlds with. Also, I cant remember a good Final Fantasy game that did have Ultimate weapons. You cant use Metatron Torment with your Ukonvasara and my Bravura is just wasting space in my mog house anyways. So why not make it useful again by eliminating it in a trial and making the Best weapon we can ever get available with the power's of both weapons. I really think this is feasible.

There will be lvl 99 upgrades for all relic/mythic/empyrean weapons.

Also, merging might work for your relic+emp great axe, but it will fall flat on it's face for mythic + emp weapons or jobs that don't have access to a relic or emp to merge.

Just try merging Kenkonken and Verethragna for instance.. besides the fact that it exceeds the maximum number of stats on an item, it also has to deal with two different aftermath effects, and MNK cannot use Kenkonken so Kenthragna would be PUP only.

But what are we going to do with them? New content please.

Isn't it obvious? Lvl 99 versions of the weapons will require 50 Absolute Virtue or Pandemonium Warden kills.

Relax.. these weapons will get their share of love. Maybe even Aftermath effect on relic weapons (but unlikely) :D

In terms of being overpowered, I just say let them. But only if they are next to impossible to get. I'm not sure about combining previous weapons. But it would be nice to have something that can make short work of a nm that would otherwise give the players a very hard time.

I argee with the OP, relic weapons and mythics should be overpowered thats what the weapon is suppose to be, emps are not on the same level as relics nor should they be...I have a apoc for my drk and it alot better than my redemption and calabolg...But even with that I hope relic and mystics are given a huge boost next update

personaly id be happy if the earlier trials for ALL of the emperyan, mythic, and relics were removed or atleast re evaluated. you know how much landing 200-300 KB's with atonement sucks?
