Some ideas that would make the game interesting

First off, I love that we have forums now to communicate with the developers and I hope everything we say is heard. Here are some ideas that I think will help inventory management.

First, allow players to trade all 8 obi's or all 8 gorgets from "In the name of science" quest to an npc (8 items, 8 spots in trade window) for 1 universal Obi/Gorget that works for all elements (depending on day/weather) and weaponskill. This will cut back and give many players 7 free inventory spaces and make it easier for us to manage what we keep on us if we change jobs often. This idea can be carried to the WS belts added in Heroes.

Another thing with combining, since this game is built horizontally, we need to carry around many extra pieces of gear, just for macros. For example, PLD relic feet just for Sentinel, MNK AF body and relic hands for Chakra, SAM AF head and relic hands for meditate, etc, what if you allowed players to trade to an npc our AF(+1), Relic(+1), and Emp(+1/+2) to an NPC and have them be combined into one piece. For example, MNK AF+1 body, Relic+1 body, and Emp +2 body, all combined gives you a nice idle piece, great tping/ws piece, a piece to macro in for Chakra, and only takes up one inv spot. Just an idea but I think it will rejuvenate interest in Dynamis/Limbus as people try for +1's to make the best combined pieces and save inv room and macro space at the same time.

Just some idea, let me know what you think. Some may love them, others may hate them. It probably won't happen, but it's just something I've been mulling around in my head the possibilities.
