I refuse to believe it is "working as intended." Either the ephemeral murex in Abyssea Misareaux is broken or the ones in Abyssea Vunkerl and Abyssea Attohwa are.
In Misareaux the murex gives 126 azure and in the other two zones it only gives 16. This happens always.

None of those things matter I am afraid. As it happens for everyone on siren on every job/race/platform/time/party/solo every time.
Mis gives 126, the other 2 zones give 16.

Have you /checked to see the level of the eph murex? I believe I heard/read somewhere (it's noted in both wikis, don't know if that's where I first read it) that the higher their level, the more lights they give. I'm going to guess that the eph murexes in Misareaux, home of Guku's aery and Sobek-hogg, get killed much more often than the ones in Attohwa and Vunkerl.
No, it's the mis one only, it gives 126 azure. Everywhere else gives 16.
By your reply, I'm going to guess you didn't even bother reading and comprehending what I typed. It's based on the level of the mob (I think, and so do most of the people who read the wikis, or it would have been changed). The level of the mob is determined by how often it's killed (I think). There are more people in Mis because Almace/Kannagi pieces come from Sobek AND Masamune (and to a lesser degree Caladbolg/Armageddon) pieces come from Cirein-Croin. Look at how many people you see running around with one those three weapons. Look at how many people are in that zone compared to the other two. Look at how many more shout groups you see forming for those two mobs than most of the others. The eph murexes of Mis are much more likely to be killed much more often than the ones in Vunk and Attohwa. Yes, it's annoying to not be able to build lights as fast. Is it broken? No. If SE does a bugfix update and says something about adjusting eph murex/amoeban lights in those two zones or says they were giving "less than intended", I'll post you an apology for calling you wrong, but that's highly unlikely to happen.
