Another Payment Change Question

I didnt really know where to put this since I didnt see a help section or anything. Unless im blind.

Anyway this is my problem, I recently bought FFXI off Steam and activated my account. I know on the first they're making all the changes to Square Enix Accounts. Now I wasnt sure if id get charged even with my free 30 days. I remember someone saying that this would happen if you started close to the first. So I cancelled my Content ID since I had to use my dads CC and I cant exactly use that (I plan on paying with Ultimate pay cards when the first rolls around, I just wanted to start early).

My problem is character reactivation wont be back up till "Late August" so will my character be unplayable after the first? Or will I get to play a good ways into August?
