Hidden stats, will we ever see them?

I really can't be the only one who has played a different final fantasy game and noticed out of every other title, that FFXI is the only one that wont display R.atk/R.Acc, Accuracy, and limits to seeing attack & defense over 999.

I understand blah blah PS2 limitations and all that jazz but it really doesn't seem like it would be to hard to have a separate status menu to bring up to display our accuracy, R.atk/R.acc M.acc/M.atk/M.Def and show our attack/defense above 999.

I know you can calculate all the gear/skill/dex into acc, but that is tedious and gets rather out of hand when your looking at 20 other jobs.

:/ so will we ever see these hidden stats Square? I'm sure there are more stats that I could list (M.evasion, Evasion, ect) but this seems rather core and big to have been missing for so long, when its displayed in every other Final Fantasy game except for 11.

Too little, too late. Would be nice, but... I dunno. I really can't see it happening.

Bear in mind, I never saw the new KI list coming either, even when the dev announced it. Just so you know.

They already replied to this question saying yes.

Yeah, they're going to look into ways to display things like Accuracy and Evasion, hopefully this includes Magic Attack, Magic Evasion, etc etc... Even if most stay at 0, it'd be nice to see the actual numbers.

And very much "too little too late", seeing as they've already answered this topic.

They said they're going to try do this, but Attack & Defence is capped to 999 you cant go past that, the same as Atributes are capped to 999.

Next time you use a brew you'll see that.

Where was this mentioned by the dev team previously? This is the only thread I can find on the subject and it has no responses.

They have mentioned that there is no particular reason why those stats aren't displayed. They didn't speicifcally say they intend to change that, only that it wasn't a conscious decision to hide those stats.

To be honest, if they add this, I'd rather see it as its own entry under Status than providing further clutter to the Equipment screen.

EDIT: Also, the list of stats that would appear on such a list (some of these are visible elsewhere but are included for completeness):

Defense
Evasion
Attack
Accuracy
Ranged Attack
Ranged Accuracy
(element) Magic Defense (for each element)
(element) Magic Evasion (for each element)
(element) Magic Attack (for each element)
(element) Magic Accuracy (for each element)

If I were setting this up, I'd do this as a 10-row, 4-column table, with icons to the left and headers of "DEF EVA ATT ACC". (And just show "--- ---" under defense/evasion for the ranged line.)
