Daily Reward System (Name TBA)

This timeline posted by you guys makes mention of some kind of new reward system? Since we are approaching this update quickly, I'm curious, does it have an official name yet and when will we hear more of it? I speak of course of the Daily Reward System (Name TBA) that is under "August Update" balloon. And I mean any information, like what we can expect the rewards to be, exp bonuses, items, or what not...

It just caught my eye and I don't recall any information on it being posted yet, so yeah, ball's in your court.

Actually, when can we hear about more updates period?

I think they are a month behind on their timeline, but its not like they said that the time on that stuff was final.

I think they are pretty much on schedule, you gotta remember they didn't just do this one VU. Since the May Vu we've seen 4 other VU that were prolly apart of the whole "june" update. The only reason why the last part of it came out in July was because of all the stuff they added. Previously the adjustments in mind were just for jobs, Monster distribution/NM adjustments, Magian changes, Synthesis/Synergy and enhanced playability. Though to be fair I guess a majority of this could be considered "enhanced playability" but it's such a vague term overall.

Out of the above the only thing we didn't get was anything on Synthing/Synergy. We did however get a lot of unexpected things such as quick tweaks to Voidwatch to make it more accessible, changes to GoV to make it more accessible, changes to NMs to make obtaining empyrean less of a hassle with the server merge, more items into slips and even new JA or changes to existing abilities for certain jobs. It's nice to see that they did cover a handful of jobs PLD/WHM/SAM/PUP/NIN even if some got more love then others, at least it's definitely faster then how it use to be. Though I guess they did do synth/synergy with the Celestial Globe being added.

Looking at things as a whole I would say they added a lot more then they had planned which is good. Instead of saying ok let's have this all out by June, they took their time and made sure they had all the content they wanted to work in and make changes to and have it out by July. Since they've handled a majority of the issues they can now focus on the next series of content as well as other job adjustments. Though i wish they would show us their road map for jobs now, they mentioned it over a month ago yet we haven't seen any map yet.

Looking at the fact they added the Celestial Globe though, we might not see a version update til after the sunbreeze festival, unless they threw that item in there just to catch us off guard. If anything I think the next major news we'll get will most likely be on when the test servers will go live. With the test server going live we'll prolly be barraged with a lot of "Testing in Progress" topics. Hopefully with the test servers being active it'll avoid situation like voidwatch in which a huge amount of tweaks were made to it upon release. Which would be a good thing, if they can cut the unnecessary time of making tweaks after a release, they'll be able to work and release content at an even faster pace.

Let's just pray that we don't have another issue like the undead being cured for 99999 though as a bug from all their VU lol.
