/yell command should be issued.

First, good job on this new feature. The only problem i have with it is how people have to /shout + /yell or they message have a chance to be 100% ignored by the filter.

in my opinion, this is how /yell should work:

if you are in the same zone of who use /yell then it should appear as a shout [filter on or not]

If you in different zone, then /yell should appear as it is atm (if filter is off)

Because the way it is atm is just pointless and spam festival... If i put /yell filter on then i might miss the /yell in the current zone i am in, so in revenge people to avoid this spam /yell + /sh. [that horrible, specially if you turn /yell filter off...]

Another solution is make the filter option like this: partial/on/off

Partial = you only see yell if you in same zone.
on = you don't see anything when people use /yell.
off = you see it from everywhere.

etvoila, and the default filter every time you log on, should be set to "partial".

Simple solution: Don't visit Jeuno unless you have to.

Get bored? Go solo something.

better yet yell need to be default off so more will use it.

More do use it, the Japanese have already taken it over. So good luck. Its already a mess of Symbols no one but people who can read japanese can understand. They must love it.

That translated didn't even make sense

I like the yell command as is, but I think it should be limited to towns if it spreads outside of jeuno.
my one issue I have is that you have to turn the filter off to see yells and do it every time you log in. I think just like the other filters it should be off by default.

Took me reading it a couple times to comprende your spanglish, but you make some very good points.

It doesn't get a lot of use on Shiva; its just too much of a hassle to utilize right now.

Fortunately, they're aware of this and will change it in the future.
