Trial 4398: Colorless Soul's

This trial would be alot more accessible if all T3 VNM's Dropped Colorless Soul's.

These have to be the most heavily camped Items out. Not only from people doing the trials, but from people just trying to sell colorless souls to people who pay 500k per soul.

Would love it if all zone T3 VNM's dropped them.

Edit. Even lowering Respawn of t2 and t3 vnms would be a huge improvement

That and people hunt the T2's for seals who aren't even interested in the T3.

I'll take anything that helps alleviate the congestion. Increased upgrade rate, increased # of VNM's present in the zone, decreased respawn time, or opening up Colorless souls to other VNM paths besides just Heroes zones. Any/all of the above would be a much needed improvement on the VNM system in general.

Considering I'm farming souls for my shield as well I can't argue against this idea. Anything to actually give me a better chance at making Ochain would be great. At the rate I'm going I'll have 75 horns before I even hit the half way mark on souls due to building pop and competition for popping T2/3.

Sadly though I doubt this will happen as SE said they weren't changing this part of the shield/harp magian :( hopefully they've reconsidered this but I doubt it.

I am begining this trial soon.Any hints or tips would be great.Which of the three is easist/most camped and which is hardest/less camped?:o

Levi in Ule has the only decent drop rate on double souls (don't ask me why), and is the easiest fight, but it's likewise the most camped. A lot of people kill the T2 for seals, including Blm body and other things. As far as Ironclads go? Altep is the easiest by far. He's a pushover. Your only competition aside from other Ochains/Harps becomes people who are trying to build Rani sets, which can be a significant slowdown if they're a shout group.

Teaming up with seal-farming groups in Ule is generally a good idea, amd/or just buying T3 pops from them. The color change on Abyssite is easily the worst part of the entire Shield and there really isn't much that can be done to improve it.

It's annoying when there are 2-3 soloers to compete for with these stupid VNMIIs especially when it isn't 100% change to Tier III abyssite. I've been in an area 2 hours with my Ochain group and only managed to get 1 person's abyssite to change in the tier II pops we were able to claim over others. I really wish they would just make the abyssite drop 100% for tier II VNMs. It's one of the most annoying trials I've had the luxury of helping with.

On another note, Abyssea - Grauberg seems to be the least camped place imo. You will most have to worry about a seal group or two for competition/teaming up with.

It's the least camped but Diabolos sucks and his drop rate on double souls is terrible. Take that for what you will.

Diabolos had an overall better rate on 2x souls than Brulo for me.

The main reason why T2 there is usually uncamped is because compared to Chione/Koios, Gamayun is pretty deadly.
