Goldsmithing

Im sure several people wont liek this, and i can partly understand. But i was hoping to get the Geode recipies changed form gs 51 to gs60.

Reason being, weve had the releases of everything since wotg, and mainly Abyssea. Has changed prices on alost every item. So many are no longer needed, several suddenly are. And over all prices on any crafting items in particular have gone up.

Now everyone knows goldsmithing is one of the most expencive crafts around. But even so, its a bit insain now. GS 50-60 region was generly dominated by gold products. However getting from 50-58 would require a lot of mets. Ask anyone thats taken a few crafts to 60+. It starts taking a lot of items to get a single level in skill ups. (For my WW is was taking avg of 60 per skill up) Combined with the fact that gold ingot are avg 250k a stack (currently almsot 300k a stack on my server) That would be a termendous amount of gill. Even more since youd be loseing almsot all of it. ~5stacks * ~250k * 8 levels= ~10m+

Farming coins for that amount aint a better option either unfortionitly. At 4 coins a ingot and 12 to a stack = 48 coins a stack. Steal is every 5 min. Assuming you got steal off the second it was available and never failed a steal that would be 240 min (4 hours) Since anyone thats tried knows, it surly aint 100% success rate so your looking at a lot more time. It would be a waste. Youd be better off making gill to buy.

Thats why i was hopeing to get geodes changed to 60. A easy and much less painfull option; and would increase the geode market.

Now i realize that the above info is primaraly focued on gold, but the other synthing optins in that level range arnt any better either. But im not goign to type out reasoning for evey single synth.

And while i think the crafting system and individual synths need to be relooked at as a whole, i figured id try to keep it simple and only request one thing.
