With unlimited instant logout, you could get your trusts back that died, or get full trusts. Slap a dot on the boss, log out instantly on the periphery of the battlefield, wait a few seconds to let the boss go back to the middle, log back in, get trusts with full HP and MP. Repeat as needed.

Anyhow, as others have already pointed out, this is easily fixed. Allow instantaneous logout if there is no enmity. Or even just in "safe" zones like cities. This would be a nice little time saver.

Discourage RMT cp/exemplar leveling with auto-warp of characters that have 'wasted' enough apex/locus monsters.

For characters that have job master and not opened the mastery level system, or capped master level, there would be a counter of apex/locus monsters killed. Being in the same party or ally that killed counts. More than 10 killed -> autowarp, reset counter and 1 hour ban for re-entering the same zone.

Bot operators could try to evade this by regularly killing their chars many times, to reduce their M level, but I think this would be impractical.

I can't think of any scenario where legit players would be impacted by this, except the rare situation that someone with capped M level wants to help friends level. That would no longer be practical (without M deleveling..) but I think that would be a small price to pay for basically shutting down the bot / RMT leveling trade.

They don't want to hinder bad actors. Bad actors pay subs. More subs than rule followers.

You people need to come to terms with this. These/this problem is a very simple fix. The thing is, it's not a problem to them. And it never will be.

I envy your superior understanding of what is in SE's best business interest. To me, the question of whether RMT M level botting helps them is not nearly as clear-cut. M levels seem to be designed as long-term content, to keep subscribers busy for months or years, similar to how the classic game was mostly about the long grind to 75 on multiple jobs.

Buying gil and letting bots do the work creates a shortcut around this. The people who buy their M levels will get bored faster and quit again.

I think it's best if we let SE decide what is in SE's best business interest.

Step back and actually think for 5 whole seconds. Don't you think by now, if they wanted it resolved, it would be resolved. Do you honestly think you have some magical solution that they couldn't have done if they wanted to.

It seems rather obvious, if you actually consider it for a whole couple seconds.

Haven't seen any Job Point seller-Parties on Quetzalcoatl, have seen an automated shout, but that is it, blacklisted and haven't seen it again.

From Abyssea worm parties, to book parties, to bot levelers.

People want it, removing something people want is never a good idea because you will see people quit the game.

There are plenty of camps now if you don't want to use them.

If people quit because no one bots them XP/CP/EP then good riddance. The customer isn't always right. In fact they are generally wrong and that's why you remove things. I wouldn't equate worm parties to the later though.

At the start worm parties was everyone killing and getting fast xp, everyone was happy and nobody really took advantage.

Then it moved into people making alliances and swapping to their level 1 char while anon to open chests while the party they made did the killing.

Then the people would make the alliance and go afk after an hour, the only time they would come back would be to invite more people every now and then. They would even get offers for people to join on low chars to open chests so the leader could afk even better.

Then others would start saying "brb" and being afk for hours, to the point half the alliance was afk, and cause the leader was afk nobody could kick them. Because nobody likes making groups on FFXI the rest of the alliance would just put up with it to get their xp.

Once people got used to this, it became a thing and once people get used to a thing being there you can't take it away.

After this they added book burns and again people duplicated the Aby thing all over again.

It's part of the game now, trying to stop it at this point is idiocy. It's too ingrained in the playerbase at this point.

If you got rid of the bots people would just go back to abusing each other for free xp as before.

Heck there were SMN burns before any of this too where people would pay to join a summon burn in koroloka.

As for good riddance, the game needs their money.

Then let them "go back" to doing whatever. I'm so sure that abyssea worm parties or level sync korroloka tunnel are not coming back that I chuckled reading the assertion.

If the game can't survive without all the rampant bots paying a sub fee. Then it is time for the game to end.

Can we get a Domain Invasion now and next from the Unity npc, I mean seriously now.

Logging in to do a DI and waiting for it to state where it's due on unity (if you can even get on) is super annoying.

Can you please consider easing the 1 vanadiel day wait for reforging at least the Artifact, Relic armor sets? Or, if both tiers are not possible, consider easing it only for the +1 tier? Or, require the 1 vanadiel date for the first set reforged but none for those after?
When gearing multiple jobs or wanting to experiment with new jobs, this process is overly burdensome and does not inspire the player to want to spend the time making the gear, leading them to giving up trying new things/jobs.

I understand the reasons for this timesink from a business perspective but I think it is actually doing the opposite of what you intend. I would wager that some players get frustrated with this wait and instead of continuing the process, give up on new jobs and eventually give up on the game. Trying to get caught up to Odyssey/Sortie content takes incredibly long with these types of timegates.

Please ease the creation of AF/Relic reforged.

There's no reason to remove the game day wait. Especially when you can get it a minute or less before the change and not wait. Character progression is a process, and if you can't plan accordingly then you can wait. So, no, you don't just get whatever you want whenever you want.

It's infuriating they refuse to add this, it's so damn annoying how they have it and it would be so easy to add an option at the unity npc to tell you where it is. Nobody is going to swap from a useful trust to matt or something to get on unity chat easier so you're just punishing players for no reason.

If you want people to stop being in apururu or similar powerful trusts, add better healing trusts to the game that aren't unity only.

I've been saying the same thing since the day they added unity. It is infuriating. Lock the only good healers and the only actual geo behind unity and then expect anyone to care at all about the other 8 unities. Obviously foolish.

The fact that it remains in this state of inability to access the dragon location is inexcusable.

If it weren't for the bots trying to get faster accolades from the bonus the other 8 would get zero evaluation score every week.

New players don't know yell exists or how to use it and /ae exists, this will have an impact on /yell sellers. They will level to 20 to do this, but they will be less likely to spam quite as much if they have to level t0 20.

Annoying players by spamming on cooldown is more risky if you have to level to 20 each time instead of just making a brand new character, they will advertise with more space between if you do this.

I'd add also that they should need to wait until the first conquest tally like with fishing. As the bots will just hit 20 right away.

Further, yell should be locked behind a rank mission. At least 3+ in your home nation.

I think that's too far, the point isn't to stop them (you can't) the point is to make them less brazen and less spammy.

Then nothing should be changed as your suggestion provides no meaningful change. They turn the bot on and that's it. It's back in town yelling in short order after that.

Free trial players can't even use tell, yell, join a pt, or use the AH. If you are trying to mandate that players need to be level 20 to use yell then there's absolutely nothing too far about being level 20 and Rank 3+.

If they have to take time leveling a character via a bot to 20 they are going to be less willing to get it banned, they will increase the wait times between shouts and such. This means less aggressive spam.

Right now they can instantly make a new character and instantly start shouting again, as opposed to waiting 2 hours to use it.

On Bahamut you can yell and come back an hour later with it still on the screen, due to the nature of that community they like it that way.

On Asura you can yell and it's gone off the screen in one minute, the problem is there is a /yell war between mercs and when someone shouts they all shout aswell to try drown each other out.

This is false and naive. It also doesn't address what I said about making yell exclusive to rank 3+ players.

Not gonna go through 200 pages of suggestions for duplicates, but some things that have been on my mind lately..

I'd like to suggest an option to opt-out of the daily Dial Key #AB, this is insanely annoying having these take up space every day during the campaign and having to /toss them, and having to do the same when I log into my Lv1 mules who will never use them.

I'd also like to see some BLU enhancing magic get duration extensions, or gear to increase duration. Feather barrier lasting a whole 30 seconds doesn't seem fair..

My storage is getting full of Omen cards and scales, is getting an NPC to hold these a possibility?

you can send cards to a mule, scales suck though.

I am spending so much time having to mule things that I am really just hoping to cut back on something.. an NPC to hold cards seems to make a lot of sense. A baby Goblin next to Coelestrox in Reisenjima to hold these seems like an easy and convenient fix! Trade them cards right as you exit Omen and have them conveniently placed when you upgrade equips.

Can't even store ambuscade creation items, or mule them for that matter.

The entire food category needs to be overhauled. It's been unaltered (mostly) for the entire games lifespan. Very few items have been updated to reflect the current state of the game.

Red Curry Buns for exampled give 23% Attack boost (but has a cap of 150!). That was significant when a player could only get 1000 Attack. It's not unusual for players to have double, or triple that now. It could be difficult to actually reach the cap of 150, now it's automatic. That means it has failed to keep up with the natural power creep.

150 Attack buff would rival Minuet, 20 years ago. 150 Attack is less than Minuet, Chaos Roll, or Geo-Fury give now.

It's fine that you add new food, but old food needs to be updated.

I don't like those keys either, but I just wait until the campaign ends to toss them.

Make deodorize instant cast, so you can actually use it if you get aggro.

Option to hide grey spells you cannot use on your current job, or at least put them all at the bottom of the list.

Customizing spell lists to hide spells would be an incredible qol update. Asking for that for more than 10 years.

You've always been able to manually sort the spell list. And spells that aren't usable on your current job don't appear on the spells section of the battle menu (the only place it really matters)- only on the main menu.
