My heart goes out to all who were affected by the earthquake and tsunami. I can't imagine how devastating and horrific it has been and still is.
To those who are disgruntled about the servers being down need to consider this: Everyone who works at SE has family and their homes potentially destroyed. That is more important than anything on earth! I think that it is very compassionate of SE to allow their employees to take care of what is most important....their families.

So before anyone here complains about that FFXI/FFXIV isnt runing, think about those ppl, players who lived in the suffering areas and will maybe not return. Becouse they are dead or lost them homes.
So if you ever had meet a japanese or have japanese friends into the game be aware of this.
Im very woried about a friend im not sure if shes safe.
I can only hope.
So stop complains about FF isnt runing. Noone cares about FF right now.

I'm from Florida we have our fair share of disasters too. None even remotely as severe as the one in Japan you have all our thoughts and prayers. And i hope you are able to make it through these tough and trying times.

I love how people act like thousands of people don't die everyday. YES what is happening in Japan is horrible. I guess when it isn't a lot of people all at once then it is easy to ignore and act like it isn't happening.
