Moogle's Law: Treasure Hunter is NOT a lie; the treasure that you seek just will never drop for you.
When you really need a item it will never drop. But once it does 5 more will drop right after it. (dynamis)
FINALLY get a relic
Miss your first WS
When fighting a Ranger-class monster, you will not have a shadow to block Eagle Eye Shot.
You zone into crawler's nest and load up dead due to the train at the zone. (Fun times)
one that frequently gets me is,
nuking down mobs on BLM your one hit from being KO'ed and the mob has 1-5% HP left, only enough MP for one good nuke that should be more than enough to kill it off, OH wait 50% RESIST! Mob Crits you... and player is KO... sigh... that son of a Kupo!
5 minutes after you decided to leave Jeuno for a level capped dunes party, there WILL be a shout for ACP11...
Have your flag up all night, don't get a single tell...
Log in the next morning with minutes to get to the ls event, get a tell before you've even loaded completely.
Moogle Law #37453382
The quickest way to the end of the dungeon will always be the longest way around.

When you decide your going to pop Kaggen and it opens up with death profit and kills ur Tanks. Or when Your poping Kirin and going to Perfect def zerg.. U pop kirin and get opens up with a Stonga 4 and Kills ur war and smn b4 Alex's perfect defence can get off.....
Use your Rounsey Wand thinking it would be a quick and clever way to get back to Jeuno.... only to get lost for 2 hours trying to navigate the dreaded Chocobo Circuit. Finally give up and go to my brothers computer log him on and use his Rounsey Wand on blm so he could Warp II me home. I'm not proud of this...
Moogles Law: Call for Help needs a child saftey lock. Outside of abyssea CFH will only be used on that NM you've spent hours of planning and gathering for... especially if theres another group watching you fight it.

Sorry, Couldn't help myself...
Shout for 3 hours setting up an Abyssea "Fell Cleave Alliance" for low level players to help them gain quick levels out of boredom. So you get 15 low levels players (keep in mind they are all levels 30-40 and only have around 1-3 Abyssea stones) and go to Abyssea, you now guide those 15 players to camp which takes around 30 minutes. You set up camp and spend another 30 minutes farming max lights. Ok your all set to go! Let the pulls begin! You pull and instantly die because you are WAR/BLM and never checked your sub. LOL (True Story)
This is no regular colibri. This is THE colibri. Your friends have all fallen before its might. You need to step it up now before it's too late MEIKYO SHISUI FULL POWERRRRR SO MUCH-

Moogle's law'd :(
When fighting with and against enemies that flock (fight) together, Charm will always fail.
"If your LS needs a tank and a healer for event, make sure your healer doesn't come WHM/NIN"
"Never say a fight is to easy when all is going to plan, cause it will go down hill fast"
If you make it down to the last little bit of a powerful mob solo, you will die while petrified and poisoned with the mob having less than 5% remaining.
Unable to long on for months due to school, spend most of winter vacation being indecisive with what to do while in Jeuno.
One dynamis run ages ago when you needed 2 full alliances, I somehow got charmed in Jeuno and the moment I said "charmed!", the black and red mages were putting me to sleep eternally! I had 5 incoming nukes within 3 seconds, I didn't know people could even target me that fast!
Anyways I would like a Moogle Law that would grant me the ability to attack members of my LS without placing them under charmed status for killing me. Can call it " An eye for an eye" but in this case it'll be "a great axe for a nuke"
When you do all that work to get your baby Chocobo egg, keep checking on it and caring for it and it finally hatches! Then grab your gear for your LS event and 3 months later you remember your baby Chocobo and return to find it ran away....for the 2nd time.
/sigh
You been waiting for an atma for months and when you finally get invited you die at the exact same time as the NM....
Moogle's Law: If you have any "Double Attack", "Triple Attack", or "Occassionally attacks X times" traits/gear active. ALL of it will activate for the maximum possible amount of attacks as soon as the enemy puts up a potent damage spikes effect, thus instantly killing the player, without the monster ever landing a single hit.
Law of Treasure Drops :
When you want an item from a monster the item is least likely to drop
When you are not in particular need of an item or drop from a monster, you obtain it with ease.
(From 8 years~ of playing FFXI this has never failed to be true on everything from the last empyrean seal, NM pop item, to gear drops )
If you try to talk to a Moogle outside of its natural habitat (Mog House), such as Upper/Lower/Port Jeuno, it will disappear.
== Moogle's Law ==
You will leave your weapon(s) in your MogHouse as you rush out realizing that the window for the timed NM you've spent a week camping will be opening in just a few minutes, thinking you have it in your MogSatchel. Always bring a Warp Cudgel (equippable by All Jobs)!
that your comp may die on your first time entering dynamis.
upon hitting key to enter, screen freezes, I reset and comp does nothing, seems the power supply started sending bad voltages and fried the motherboard and cpu. Replace comp about a year later, and get back in ffxi two years later, after spending two days on the phone with SE support staff to re-activate the account, and then get my security token that I lost removed from acount, I finally got to go on that dyna run two days later.
Go with Friend to do PM cs in pso'xja or w/e and while your in the cs he gets aggro lvl 95 by all the gobs, you exit cs and run over and warp him out. Blm sub job 95 war... right when casting warp upon yourself...BAM!! mp drain from a doll... now you only have 76 Mp... Death! Always expect that mp drain or tp drain right when you reeeeally need it!
Moogle's Law of Two or More: Attack one "Too Weak" enemy, beat it easily. Attack two "Too Weak" enemies at the same time, die to hidden trait, "Enemies' level grows exponentially in parties."
Moogle's Law: Just after you cast Utsusemi:ichi, while Ni is down, the mob you're fighting uses an AoE.
When you claim Nidhogg, half your alliance will disconnect. (Back @ 75, anyways.)
0/120+ On Leaping Lizzy. Running through zone one day with boyfriend, he finds lizard and kills lizard boots drop 1/1 :\
Moogle's Law: SE introduces something potentially really awesome, but then just totally messes it up in the end.
Ninjas will always dodge Trick Attack. White Mages will not.
You ask a friend to be your skillchain buddy to unlock the weapon skill from your Nyzul Isle weapon only to realize after 3 hours of slaying crabs you never started the quest. :o
=== Moogle's Law ===
When you want a lottery/timed spawn NM it is never up. When you do not want the NM, it is always up.
