actually what they need to do is change it so its an update queue so people are put in line to wait rather than being disconnected, sure it would take longer but it would serve to help their update server mess

It would be better to add a server based pre-que. That way as people logged on it would put them in line after the update info is downloaded and you wouldn't have people hammering the servers with retries. Notice I said server side que? If it was client side based people would hack it and jump the line an get their downloads first.

As for waiting 60 hours. :rolleyes: Go do something else then until things cool down. I don't think they'll be permanently shutting down the game just yet so have a little patience. In the end when things cool down you'll be able to log on, get your download 1st try at a faster speeds and not constantly disconnect.

I've got all this in panoramic view for all you lot moaning about trying to update 1 comp :p

Had the main (comp) up to 10% an hour or so ago and then booted.
The left one is at 4% at the minute and has taken a looong time to get there. Currently 3343/3493
And the right comp just managed to get to the file check and complete it.. to be booted.. lol

update from 12pm, it is now almost 230pm and I went from 48% 5 hours to 65% 4 hours..wow
