This was the same path (more or less) i remember back in early part of 2002-2004. This was the true right of passage getting to 75 and by the time you got to sky and in endgame LSs you sure knew how to do your job and knew all the mob classes elemental weaknesses and so on.

I would say a respect of elemental weakness, most of the time it was worthless unless the mob had a hard elemental def ( like ghosts take 1/2 damage max from ice spells)

what do you mean by more or less? did i miss some spots?

Rambus that is the same pattern we used in Garuda back in the days. It was well laid out or at least seemed to be to me and always terrifying to move to next step but rewarding to know you had made it to that point. Very exciting times.

Yeah It was like a right of passage everytime you moved, very different now.

I remember when mobs used to not de-spawn and camping in places like the citadel or nest lol someone trains the entire zone to the entrance..bodies everywhere. Nothing like zoning into the nest into a pile of crawlers and exorays or seeing like 20+ people dead on the steps in the citadel near the goblin footprint lol

Cape terrigan in 04 was one of my favorites. Being packed into that tunnel by the beach with one or two other parties, and people going ballistic when they got too close and the other parties mob aoe'd. Before people whined, and cried so much they nerfed true aoe's on everything except a few HNM.

By far the best for me tho was Yhoater Jungle my 1st time thru. Was such an adventure to get there, and not many people knew the way back out lol. Blm's shouting for d2's home for 500gil. Met some awesome people at those camps!

Rambus add Bibiki Bay gobs to end of that list as well lol. And some people did hit 75 in KRT, depending on if you were BLM, MNK BRD RRDM or BRD anyway lol.

I am so glad they changed that though, I got oneshotted once trying to get to a Bibiki bay party once.... i died on a chobobo....... (lest i found out it was possible, funny at the same time)

It is there, I know there is lower levels for bibiki bay but I am not very well aware of them since I was in my 70s on 1 or 2 jobs around that time.

ill add KRT though, I knew i forgot a few.

there is a few bat parties one in krt one in the tunnels of casle sandy but I forget the level ranges, and was not very plopular.

KRT first was around in the 50's i remember someone talking about rampage, I do not remember when you do bats in sandy tunnels though

Sorry Rambus you were right Bibiki Bay was there i just missed it lol.

The one under Sandy is Bostaunieux Oubliette. Mobs there range from 52-70 not counting the NM's.
