FFXI Withdraws Yet?

I'm having horrible withdraws are you kidding me?
I doubt its going to be back in a week

Are you serious? I had LITERALLY JUST resubbed the week this all happened. It's like I was just freshly injected with the needle and they took my medicine right back from me. And it was a new flavor too!

Need.....FFXI...can't....live....with...out...it...

Yea im having withdrawals- and after reading these forums- im having withdrawals from players that actually realize this is a math based game and the casual idiot who gets a sack in some shell that does know its head from abyssea. <and by abyssea i mean ass for those that are a bit slower to comprehend>All i have to say is hello SE, look how many subcribers you had back when as compared to now. Easy mode does not = more money.Although easy mode is nice and lets the people who actually understand the game to roflstomp those who dont =D

As much as I want to get back on, I understand the situation over there. Just wish SE had a backup plan in a situation like this.

Yeah, I can definetly tell I'm going through withdrawl presently, /guilty. Been a little bit crabby today as well, but suppose it is for the better. Gives me a chance to play other games, and get caught up on my schoolwork! Finally beat FF13 last night (bought it back in late June, just now finished it lol), got tons of other games to play as well. So.. it's not all bad, and with the way things are going over their with the nuclear crisis, I doubt we'll be back on XI or XIV anytime in the near future. Maybe it truly is for the best. Every news report I see just gets me so depressed, wish there was something more we could do as a populous aside from donating money to the relief efforts =/

My only concern was the night before, my wife decided she wanted to play after watching me since I had just come back last month. We got it all downloaded off D2D and installed that night. The night the Server message came up she was still updating her game. Next morning, game updated, servers down. I literally did a >_> face at her lol

I typed /shutdown to try and turn off my computer. lol

I just keep thinking about the day when they do open the servers back up. Can you imagine? Abyssea is going to be like 37 Black Fridays all in one. People will be calling in sick to work. Weddings will be missed. Babies being born will be postponed. Yes. People would rather be constipated with a fetus than to miss the reopening of XI.
I may not log in for an extra week just to avoid the crowds and the mess of things. (yeah right)
