Suggestions: Quality of Life Stuff and other suggestions

Since lot's of people are forced to stay home for the next month, would it be possible to remove the 700 weekly JP limit from the Oboro quest requiring 10,000 jp to further upgrade weapons? Some of us have nothing better to do than grind and it would be greatly appreciated!

I hate that superior equipment has to be unlocked for each class but it part of the grind I suppose. I wish it were unlocked once across all classes then forgotten like limit breaks. Shudder the thought of doing limit breaks for each class I want to level.

Please add a quest to add a warp crystal into our mog garden!

Increase the HP of Besiged monsters significantly, right now they end way too quickly.

if you mean home point, the mog garden is basically your mog house, its an instanced area and dthere's probably a reason there are no home points in instanced areas.

There needs to be some kind of party finder like in FFXIV. This is 2020 and there is really no way to find people to do anything in FFXI it makes it unfun trying to solo everything in this game.

The biggest hurdle to doing content in the game should be finding a group.

Add a conversion capability to apply capacity point gains across jobs. I am officially proposing a way of achieving this in a responsible manner (2nd post).

Allow for the exchange of one Copper A.M.A.N. voucher a conversion of 100 Job Points from one job on a character to another job on the same character.
You can either achieve this completely through the exchange at a NPC or by allowing the exchange to occur with the NPC creating a "EX" property item upon use that would apply 100 Job Points when consumed to the job a character is set as.
This will facilitate the re-engagement of characters who have 2100 JP master essential jobs such as healers, party support and even BLM back into viable usage for party creations.

Can we please have a campaign for April? This is will be the first Ambuscade-only update in recent memory and with nothing else to do, I'd really like an omen campaign or something to group with friends.

I'm sure there will be content campaigns, there always is, those dont require a patch, they can be turned on and off.

Please put apex level mobs in some of the older areas - it will ease congestion in some areas and make job point parties more interesting

Areas pre-Adoulin has that old level correction and hate mechanics thing so that probably might be a couple of problems implementing Ilvl mobs and maybe other factors

Within the confines of existing systems, they could probably achieve this to some degree by basing something off the linkshell concierges. While they intended the comments and search to be used for this purpose, it is just too limited. If we had a system with a concept of party slots and people can just join the party directly through that interface, it would make things so much simpler.

Actually I've proposed a thorough and encompassing explanation on how to go about evolving the /seacom feature. Increasing the availability of /seacom allotments for each character and placing upgrades to utilize within the results of a search with content tags, area tags, level tags, item category tags.

Linkshells are purposed for longterm social involvements and to a degree constraining by design.

/seacom is the default FFXI "party finder" and adequate usage of /seacom was how players would initiate and form exp + merit parties prior to the era of trusts.

Once trusts became a part of FFXI, immediately when utilizing a trust your "Looking for Group" automatically becomes disabled. Upon this realization, SE should have compensated in some manner to alleviate this conflict. Which is why the modernization of /seacom needs to be taken up as a priority.

There should be a way to disseminate between retaining a "Looking for Group" status while not being disabled from using trusts.

/seacom itself is just a crap bandaid to the problem. Part of the problem is it's really hidden, but /seacom doesn't make parties. it just lets you say stuff. You still have to send out invites yourself. There is the party request system they added later, but people barely know about that too, and being open to requests, you still have to accept them manually, so its not really any better than just manually sending out party invites.

Please consider adding Storms of fate (6 person) and The Wyrmking Descends (18 person) to the collection of High tier Battlefields!

the mog garden needs a total overhaul. you don't get enough items even with 7 mog gardens rank 7 to make a difference in any particular craft. also you cant make enough personal money from it, so its a lot of work every day for nothing. I know u can work your butt off to get coalition serums and make darksteel ores maybe 1 rhodium ore and bismuth or beryllium 1 ore if lucky of any of these , but one ore doesn't do squat when u need 12 to make something. the darksteel on our server bahamut is @ 50k for 12, while the ingots are at 88k but that's not counting the loads of iron ore u need and the expensive fire crystals to make it, so the profit margin is crap. rmt has destroyed our server making stuff so that only they can profit over and over, and im sick of it. we need to have some fun in a "game" too. ty whoever is listening.

I wish you could change your mog enhancement from woodworking setup to fishing setup to desynthesis setup to experience setup etc, just by flipping a switch in your menu . of course after you manually set them up in the mog house.

Like a menu to pick from all of the moghancements you've previously uncovered... That would be really nice. It's a pain to swap furniture around just to get the right one.

I think you should still have to discover each moghancement of course, but once you've activated one for the first time, you should be able to recall it without having to change your furniture back.

farming materials and crafting stuff most of the time is breaking even due to rmt. is there anyway to change that up so so we can actually afford su5's and other nice gear?

trusts are giving haste instead of flurry and flurry instead of haste. it slows progress down a bit.

What are we really stopping happening by having a 1M delivery box limit?

Going back years, it was relevant but now due to the influx of gil in the economy and loss of the value of gil, it would make sense to increase it.
1 million Gil in this day and age is not a lot of money, and most people can make it within 15 minutes with Gain EXP/EXP bonuses.

That and make trust Haste II overwrite the already cast Haste.
If you have Haste on you (cast on you by Apururu as an example), Koru-Moru won't cast Haste II on you.
It's as if it "holds" the slot.

If a bound to same account regulation was enacted, then no restrictions would be necessary.
Any relaxation grants increased accommodations for corruption and detrimental behaviors.

I don't think it would have an effect in that respect, to be honest. Most people buying the content will pay the person then and there by the whatever battle they are taking part in (or not taking part in and just observing).

I agree on that part. What some people don't realise by doing this is that they are self-defeating the whole point of playing the game. That or they are playing the wrong game in the first place.
It's the same as anyone who 'used cheat codes to beat a game' - They get what they want through instant gratification, and then get bored because they have nothing to do. Sub ends. Revenue goes bye bye.

Any relaxation is a can of worms that is best not given consideration if it's not a strict bound to account exchange.

There's various means of transmission if you can't find one trustworthy individual to assist with a transfer.

With current policy in place, I would recommend using the character you wish to move gil off of to invest in low risk high volume commodities such as Beitetsu and other desirable swift selling merchandise that don't have much volatility in value.
Mail those items to the destination you wish and liquidate on the receiving character.

The other route is to save on a character where you intend to make a purchase, then d-box the purchased item to the character where you want the item to be located.

I understand buying loads and loads of beitetsu, and losing your money selling it back on another mule, bc u have to undercut it to sell it and wait a week. but honestly wouldn't it be smarter to just raise the bar just enough to send legitimate money from one character to another on the same account? I mean think it about it, its your own money, and if you were laundering money giving it to another mule on the same account still wouldn't be a foul, its just trading straight up like you would do with another character that is holding your money for you that you trust. I understand they don't want rmt messing with money but they are doing it anyway, and SE isn't banning them for doing it, believe me I have tried over 100 x to get the rmt bots out of bahamut, but they want subscriptions, and I don't blame them tbh. but they are ruining it for every body else that is a normal person in the game to make some quick cash that is dirty money anyway.

Bound to account produces less conflicts, the only reservation would be those attempting to manipulate history (which they do with multiple accounts anyway). I believe the issue is more so that the d-box is so layered into the 2002 code that current programmers would have a challenge designating gil to be bound to account without disabling the total capability of the d-box for characters not on the same account.

yeah but tbh I wish someone gifted would try. see heres the problem I have. I have 7 lv 110 crafts on different mules, same account. and I have 2 jobs on different mules same account I switch between a lot, and waiting for stuff to sell just isn't fun anymore on my server with rmt price shifting every 15 minutes by bot. they have come up with over 100 manipulations to get people to sell low so they can buy it and sell it high, so that price doesn't even exist on our server. they have been doing it for over 10 years as far as I can tell, but they have gotten even more good at the manipulations as if the bots were created to come up with solutions to economics and how to destroy the market.

Honestly, it's probably 90% jerks and 10% rmt doing the manipulations with bots. The 3rd party ToS violations are horrible within usage among those that are not the stereotype of rmt.
I have advocated for a complete overhaul of peer-to-peer economic relations in multiple posts if you've read any of them.

I would like to see tons more crafting mats on DI, those skymir cord +1 I made one for myself and my aeolian edge does 13k.

if you could buy rhodium in the mog garden for 15k a ore, that would piss off the guy that manipulates prices in goldsmithing, and would make me very happy. :)

But what kind of remake are you expecting ?
I wish a full 3D game with classic turn by turn gameplay. I don't want a 2D remake or 3D with SD characters.
Also a 3D remake of the 9 would be a dream come true for me.

Please consider adding a bank option to the mog house, to put all your gil into. It's way too easy to be scammed via bazaar sales.
