What do the pom-poms on Moogles' heads do? What are they for?
They're, um... not for....used to... are they?
Maybe some mysteries...are better left mysteries.
What's up with the random moogle that appears in the middle of Upper Jeuno and then disappears? Is it a ghost moogle or something?
The Pom Poms on moogle's heads are used as telepathic channels to talk to other moogles. Mainly used to talk to those moogles that are not located on the same continent(I.E moogle's mom and dad who live presumably in the moogle forest on the far western continent)
The Pom Pom is explained in FFV :x
I would like to see them add all three of the unique past zones to the present and call them like "Grauberg Remnants" ect.
They would just be totally destroyed because of the war and could have all kinds of mean dead ends that make you zone all around creation to get to various new NM's (like KA)
I do not like harry girls!!
Steal it from that NM kinda brakes it and it is slow and weakens its TP movs.
They go to the restroom, bath while we log them out or during maint.!
Denial! (and Esha'ntarl is still paying them)
^This guy has never played Chrono Trigger. DON'T CHANGE THE PAST!!
Go past the key stone around the "wall" to the straight away towards the shop. I see my moogle there from time to time too I think its a bug.
I believe they're a sensory organ, just like a cat's whiskers. If you'll notice, they rarely open their eyes, but their tactile senses from their pom pom are enough for them distinguish distance to objects based on the feel of the air.
On a side note, never smack your moogle by the pom-pom. Imagine getting kicked in the balls, only far, far worse.
Why do only black mandy's agro people??
That random moogle in jeuno is a glitch, but I don't remember what causes it.
To the person saying moogles are fairies, that is mentioned in FF9.
This thread is awesome btw. Although I can't believe no one has mentioned ebon panels.
This thead reminds me of another one I started a while back, but as far as my main question goes. It's always bugged me that Kirin, AV and PW have dialogue which seems to hint at them having a specific purpose or origin beyond just being a strong monster, but no concrete evidence of what they are and why they're there.
Ok, and who is Zitah anyway?
Duh, they make Absolute Virtue a cakewalk, doesn't everyone know that?
If I was a dev I would make a event out of the moogles leaving the mog house. Call it moogles on strike and have them form a picket line in one of the zones at the mog houses in all the major cities. We could still use our mogs by using scab moogles . It even fits in to lore some what they have a union or some such.
Anybody notice the servants in the duke's palace in ru'lude are all clones? >_>
Does SE have a dictionary of what the zilart words mean? or at least what the prefixes like Ru Om and Ix mean?
I know this comes way late, but regarding the blocked tunnel in Kazham, I think it leads to where the male mithras are kept. (If I remember correctly, some NPC around the village says so.)
A couple things I have been wondering though are:
1) What's with the very very ugly tree in Batallia Downs at D-5 called Aged Arbor? Why is it so... different.... And why is it there? There's no ???s, no NMs, no cutscenes about it or any quest that might involve it in any possible way, so what happened to it?
2) Why does Deafening Tantara make you silenced and not deaf?
deaf people usually not speak very well cause they cant see the sound of their own voice...
Who invented the first subligar? More importantly, why? They look terribly uncomfortable. I can only imagine an origin story similar to that of high heels but involving more Galka.
I'd like to know more about the Yagudo religion in general, but I guess that's not a mystery so much as the result of one of the tenants of that religion being to kill folks.
People with Synesthesia generally speak very well, because they can see their own voice and it looks really purple.
uffffff
english is not my first language and if i distract a bit, well, u see what i wrote :P
add that im writing on an xperia play with c9 (or something along the line) and if i dont read twice what i write sometimes really weird things happens...
one day i was writing to my wife to get heroes on dvd...message arrived: get herpes on dvd LOL
What use are Cardian Cards? Cactaur needles?
Why are some of the Windurst tarutaru militia divisions named after constellations that don't exist in the skies? Why are some of the San D'Orian militia divisions named after animals that don't exist in the world?
Why don't we just tell one of the people waiting for their other half in Sandy and Jeuno that the other person is waiting on a different floor or part of the staircase? I get the joke and reference, but it's been years now and they still don't have a clue.
Why does Melyon have a Scottish accent? I can't remember if any other npc's do. Is he the sole survivor of some distant country we've never heard of?
The guy with amnesia in Norg - how do we get him back his memory?
Why is it we can kill Gods, Time Travel, change Reality's and store insane amounts of "Items" in a bag I cant actually see... but we cant climb over a small piece of rubble leading to Byakko's Island?
If you have a certain Cardian card in your possession, the Cardian will NOT AGGRO you regardless of it being aggro or not.
You can find aggressive Cardians on the Kuluu ruins on Sarutabaruta.
P.S.: It does not mean it won't defend itself if you attack it, though.
why does the year counter keep going up as the game ages despite the fact that since we know the year of the crystal war, we can pinpoint the year in which the game takes place.
Why does a climbing airship go nose up like an airplane rather than nose down like a helicopter?
I'm pretty sure this rumor was proven wrong :X
I know Its been tested and proven false repeated times, unless maybe it was changed recently? I'll go test it myself later but i remember Farming Cardians a long time ago when i was a noob, and even though i had every card those ones dropped, They would still aggro me (In fact thats how i pulled them lol :X)
What does the augment on conspirator on the THF AF3 body do?
Why is the intro video to the game based all around Tavnazia and most of the artifact quests go back to the great war and Tavnazia, even some areas in limbus (apollyon) resemble the tattered streets of tavnazia, and that random npc in safehold above auction house that talks about tavnazias "current state" basically saying those monsters in tavnazia now are very powerful, utterly challenging any player that reads this to say: "like hell i'll crush them all", yet we are never given the chance after all these years, wanna know what to do at 99 with all this untapped power we'll have?? Troop on over to tavnazia and stir up a sh*tstorm.
And while we are on the topic of the into video, why is it that, should you choose to watch the video in its entirety, you will be exited back out to POL because you connection has timed out. Can't you make the timeout a bit longer so you can watch the movie and still click "accept"/choose a character?
My totally uninformed and mostly unintelligent guess is that it makes Conspirator also affect the person with enmity.
Although Krabknuckle is onto something with it being a piece of equipment for Thief. I bet it adds +magic accuracy for that particular game day if the moon is over half-full, if and only if Tiamat's spawn window is open.
Hpemdes, and Madragoras in WotG areas both come up to you, but don't attack.
What do they want?
