"Content: Voidwatch" ROEs would indeed be a welcome addition, but would be minorly infuriating for me since I'm currently in the process of running 12x characters thru for complete clears, and it would be irritating to have to do so YET AGAIN to clear the ROEs. My main two have long been done, but that still leaves 10x to go.. Just finished getting the 2nd pair up to Provenance so they're basically done. Perhaps an HMP pouch for completing each path in addition to the mass slaughter repeatables suggested for Qilin/Uptala/Aello would be a decent incentive/reward for bothering to do so? OH! And HMP from killing Provenance Watcher (repeatable, should be low # of kills) since that might encourage others to be willing to help out on otherwise annoying-to-lowman fight. lol

"Advanced RoE".

We had the beginners section, then the intermediate. Can we now have an "Advanced" set of ROE please?

I'd like to have changes for the existing Voidwalker NMs:

• Reduce the respawn time of VNMs to Instant for T1, 10 Minutes for T2, 30 Minutes for T3 and 1h for T4(Yilbegan)
• Add the "always change color" effect of the "Rhapsody in Mauve" KI to VNMs too

The next thing I'd like to get changed is about fishing:

• I really like the way acquiring the Ebisu Fishing Rod(+1) is handled : it's hard, you need to put some effort into it, but it's not impossible
• However my brother and I tried to get some Matsyas today and while I held the 5 fished up monsters he tried to fish the matsyas. He got 3 Matsyas in ~2h. So please increase either the bite rate of them OR make the Shaper's Shawl a higher chance from the "Inside the Belly" Quest OR make the Shaper's Shawl sendable between the characters of the same account

I've posted so many times asking for this every time I come back and sub for a month - Can we have server merges yet? I don't want to transfer and lose my name. Thank you.

You can change servers without losing your name.

You only lose your name if someone else has it on the server that the other servers are being merged into.

Ie: Transferring yourself, or a merge wouldn't make a difference.

They do have my name on most of the servers. But the way it worked before when the game merged is whoever had the name longer got to keep it. I've had my name since game launch lol.

Also all of my friends came back with me and feel the same way. Anyway I guess we will just keep playing and patiently wait...or get bored again.

I am not positive I like the first ideas listed but I liked enough on your second idea for fishing changes, more fishing changes again since I am working on the RoE objectives towards a Lu-Shangs Fishing pole +1 myself but its not liked enough to be observed watching by twitch viewers as I am finding that bit about it in going fishing on ffxi as well. Just saying... :-D

I don't think server mergers are going to happen, personally. If they were, it would have happened way before now.

Plenty of players use these forums.. on the JP side, which are the players that the devs talk to regularly anyway. >.> Once THEY start asking for server merges, then it might actually happen.

After this amount of time, I'm not so sure now.

I think we are at the point of (or close to) people being where they want to be now, across the board.... Servers like Asura are for people who have wanted/looked to be on a busy/populated server and they transferred to be there. The people who have remained on the 'quiet servers' are contented to do stuff on their own with no intention of moving.

So I think at this stage we have two types of established player base: (a) People preferring to be on a busy server and (b) People who prefer to play solo, with quiet zones.

Exactly. Which is why they don't immediately consolidate everyone down to just 2-3 servers. I'm betting that without a strong push from the JP playerbase, they'll wait to do a merge until they have multiple servers w/ fewer players than are needed to cover their electricity costs...

Please make Omen Scales a currency item to get their respective drop. After upgrading gear there is not much use for them.

Example:
10x Fu's Scale for Shulmanu Collar or Niqmaddu Ring.
25x Fu's Scale for Nisroch Jerkin.

Ou drops can be same amount but a set of each scale type, like the key items to access him.

Can we trade thousands of omen cards for a rare body?

In order to keep omen worthwhile for a single job, can we trade 1,000 or 2,000 omen job cards and exchange them for a single rare body, like Dagon Breastplate or Ashera harness?

You can make this purchase available to mastered jobs and cost 250 job points for the opportunity purchase.

Alternatively, you can make the opportunity to purchase these bodies available for 100,000 merit points from Emporox.

1. Why not do a weekly or monthly Mog Bonanza ?

2. Make the Adoulin Dial permanent.

3. Remove all food and sundries items from the special dial, Adoulin dial and ABJ Dial,
and then put them in their respective Dial section.(Example)All food goes into the food dial,then all sundries into the sundries dial. etc...

4. Add a new dial key for Relic/Empyrean/Ergonic/Mythic weapon currencies.(Example) HP-Bayld,Dynamis Currencies, Alexandrite,Pluton,Beitetsu and Riftborn Boulders. 1. Because it's supposed to be a special event, not a revolving door like Ambuscade. :/

2. No. Adoulin Dial is the worst event dial period. The majority of the items in the pool are basically trash worth less than 5k. Personally wouldn't mind Unity Dial being more common, but I'm betting that menu slot is just rotated which means any "permanent" dial would eliminate all other event dials. So still, no.

3. There are no food items in the Adoulin or ABJ Dials.. Goblin items don't count since those are booby prizes that you get instead of a duplicate R/EX item that you already have. The nature of the Special Dial is that nearly every item in the game is available from it, so it doesn't even make sense to remove the trashy items from it. I say this even tho yesterday I got nothing better than a Three of Swords card out of 13x pulls.. (Today I got my 3rd Lu Shang from it, which helps make up for the lousy days IMO. lol) Still doesn't justify the request. Personally, I'm far more annoyed with AF+1 and relic-1 being included since they are not POL sendable and it feels lousy tossing them.

4. All of the materials you listed have been available from special events (except maybe Delve mats, I don't remember yes/no on those tbh,) like the clvl Bahamut fight, the Chacharoon "dial", in Mog Garden flotsam during an event, etc. as part of a much larger item pool similar to the Special Dial. I think they do this ~once per year. Keep an eye on November. The idea of a REMA Dial tho bothers me. -_-;; Do the events, or do Ambuscade. Seriously. We get enough free stuff and don't need yet another outlet for these items. Delve only needs 3x decently geared/skilled bodies to stomp thru for mats in 10-20min, and you should avg out to 9x boss mats for every 3x runs. The only hard part is leaving town and DOING something really. >.>;;;

Out of curiosity, how many characters do you have total and how often do you leave town on them? I may have 14x characters, but each of them has 1-3 99/119 jobs and I actually play on all of them. No offense intended, but your requests sound like they are coming from someone w/ a lv1 mule army and hoping to increase profits w/o ever stepping outside town. ^^;;

I have one main and 1 mule. On my main I have all jobs to 99 and 2 of them are mastered and a few more are on their way to getting mastered. So far I have RUN and GEO mastered. DRK,BLU and DNC are on their way to mastery. RUN and GEO are fully decked out in a mixture of ilvl 119 +1 AF/Relic/Escha/Reisenjima/Sinister Reign/High tier battlefield/Unity and Skirmish gear. I have RDM to 80 on my mule. I planned on getting it to 99 along with some other jobs on it, but I stopped due to trying to focus on my main for gear and of course Ergonic and Aeonic weapons. I leave town all of the time to do content. My mule stays in town mostly due to that.

I just came up with most of the chest ideas due to them seeming a bit messy to me and the idea for REMA items/materials was just to help anyone trying to create one.Yes the items would be random and a low chance, but if you get a material you don't need then you can sell it to buy one you do need.

Event Gobbiebox dials are all pretty well defined though? Item pools are either limited by content (Adoulin, Unity, etc) or have close-to-everything (special, ANV, etc). The items you specifically called out are all specifically excluded from the vast majority of dials, with events like the ones I mentioned being the exceptions to the rule and one of their prime selling points being that those items were not excluded.

Unlikely, sounds like far too much man power needed for something like that.
I'd rather energy focused on something more pressing like the sheer amount of bots everywhere.

it it possible to not use up a reraise scroll if you dont actually use it in battle. what i mean is if you use it on your body, and you die, and you say no to using the reraise, is it possible to make it so you dont use the scroll? its a pain in the butt to keep going back to the moogle to buy those esp during campaigns

I don't want what you are asking for since it sounds like it would be absurdly difficult to implement that way. How about instead, we get a Reraise Ring w/ a 10min cooldown, mirroring the Warp Ring? If that's not enough for you, well.... stop dying? <_<;;

The way this bug report has been handled is incredibly unnerving. If this happened to me I would be absolutely furious. I can think of plenty of times my internet has gone out on me in the middle of fights and cutscenes, or my power has gone out while playing. The fact that bugs like this can happen and it's been two weeks without the guy receiving any actual help really makes me question the integrity of this team and company as a whole.

I'm incredibly unimpressed with how SE has handled such a literal game breaking bug.

Forget confidence in the dev team's creativity, this is ruining my confidence in your ability to even maintain the game period.

I would have never guessed that a game i pay a monthly fee for so it can be supported, would not provide any player support in return... If my company just blew off customers they way i have been, it would be chaos. Paying customers are the reason you exist.

This requires attention.

It's a large customer service failure that a paying customer doesn't even know if his issue has been escalated to the right team yet or a time frame for resolution.

He shouldn't have to ask the player base for help getting attention to his problem.

Bug Reports do not, ever, get responded to directly. The only response they will get is being moved around the subforums to indicate their processing status. The linked bug report, which is not directly related to the one complaining btw, has already been moved to Accepted Bugs. That means that it has already been escalated and will be looked into. Then it'll eventually get moved to a different subforum to indicate how they are going to treat it. Bug reports, when properly made using the template like the linked one, begin getting processed pretty fast too in general. The only improvement I'd like to see in the bug reporting process would be some sort of status-change notification to the poster so we don't have to sort thru the forums manually ourselves to see if our own reports get accepted or rejected.

On the other hand, there is a different long-term and massive customer service failure on SE's part. Why do we not have an English speaking community representative on staff for roughly two years now? I know that job postings were announced on JPside twice so far, but we have yet to see anyone employed in that absolutely needful position.

And yeah, I watched the job postings til they were taken down each time.. I know it wasn't filled the first time, and we haven't heard a peep about this year's attempt either, so my hopes are not high. :(

Ah sorry, was just responding to your post about us not having a rep when we do. Sicy's posted a decent amount of times in response to players' queries. I don't know why they'd recruit anyone else when there's so little solid information that can be communicated past the dev updates. One person seems to be enough at this point in the game's life cycle, and probably more than is justifiable from their current subscription income.

The devs themselves interact with the Japanese player base 2-5x per week. They have even been opening up a bit and answering direct, stat-related player questions. Most of the past months' Login Campaign prizes were by (Japanese) player request. The vast majority of information coming out of SE regarding this game at this point is being released on these very forums, but in the Japanese language only. Sicycre has not functioned as an interface between us and the devs for far too long to qualify as anything close to the position/title that we are talking about. There really isn't much of anything to indicate there is even a real person behind the name anymore since she's gotten relegated to only translating patch notes for the past several years. I don't like saying any of this since I know it sounds quite negative, but facts are facts and there is no one on the payroll right now. orz

It is a fact that the company posted job listings for a Community Manager to handle the FFXI forums last year (which went unfilled) and this year (not known for sure, but the posting seemed to expire rather than being taken down..)
