Cannot get cutscene to finish optional objective in Voracious Resurgence 7-4

Have you also completed the mission? And you read the wiki pages stating that you could do these things after the mission was completed?
With more people saying this, it may very well be that it's not a bug and that the information that has been going around is wrong. I was skeptical, but with your confirmation the mission is complete, it would be more evidence to the contrary.
