And like Detlef says, 25-30% of the playerbase is a lot of faces to slap. For any business, losing that amount of customers in one go would be considered quite disastrous, and it would make alarms go off across the board that they need to go through their recent business decisions and try to rectify the situation ASAP.

Do you even own a level 99 R/M/E?

Firstly, all those customers aren't going to quit. A pessimistic guess I'd say maybe 5% a realistic guess maybe 1~2% but they'll all come hobbling back once the R/M/E update comes. Secondly, irrelevant but I do own a R/M/E, like if I somehow didn't I wouldn't be allowed an opinion in this conversation.
