Opinions on Dynamis News

I really enjoyed Diemass.. I'm not really sure why. I hated all the other endgame uber "I need my longsword to be better than your longsword" "omgwtfqq llamadrama he don't deserve x for job y even though he has infinity +2 points I have eight points!!!11eleventy!!" stuff...

If it's free-roaming like Walk of Echoes is currently, no thanks. Still needs to be instanced and limited to one group per instance.

I'm guessing the trigger NMs will revolve around Attestation and Fragment NMs. Also likely signals the ability to upgrade AF2 or AF2+1 via synergy. Lastly, I hope this finally drops coin prices. Being able to enter on a daily basis to hammer out a relic would be fantastic.

Maybe I can finally get a chance to do dynamis now

This is interesting news indeed. I currently run a small group of people just going in there and having fun... farming currency for members to sell as a way to make gil. Others like myself as saving it to upgrade our relics. This can either be very good with taking out the 72hr waiting period or go horrible wrong if they have it as zone wide lottable and not just your small group going in. They love teasing us and being very vague. Guess its back to the waiting game again and see how they set this up.

I may be reading this wrong, but I'm reading it as if Dynamis will be a BCNM type area. Where multiple alliances can go in, but they are in their own seperate BCNMs.

I sure hope so. If its like Salvage, Nyzul Isle, or even Eiherjar where many can do the event but you are on your own. Plus the revamping mob locations and xp and such from there..... I just hope it doesnt kill off the fun me and my group enjoy with running them low man

I hope it's like abyssea and i hope they add new NMs and gear and make the Normal mobs harder (or add relic armour Augments) because the reason our ls doesn't do dyna anymore is that Relic gear is obsolete lol.

This has the potential to be epic. It could be one of the most revitalizing movements in FFXI history, really. Just don't screw up the delivery, SE.

As one of the leaders of probably the oldest Dynamis only Linkshell on Ragnarok (we have records going back almost 7 years), I'm not quite sure how this will go. It will certainly be ...interesting.

The availability of Relic Armor will dramatically increase. However, I fear this will crash the currency markets. I'm also curious the zones will be reworked to allow multiple groups to obtain clears. For example, Dynamis-Windurst requires the death of four NMs to for the Megaboss to pop. What about Trials that require Dynamis Zone Boss Kills? What about attestation NMs or weapon fragments? The Dynamis Lord?

Dynamis interest could be maintained or improved by adding drops appropriate to the FFXI of 2011. Perhaps unique armor upgrade components or additional armor accessories such as Melee Earring, Valor Ring, Duelist's Torque, etc.

Also, the deliberate or inadvertant omission of the Dreamland Dynamis zones from the orginal post is noteworthy. Will those zones still require a reservation (hourglass, etc) and not receive an upgrade/reworking?
