You can cap cure potency without a body piece. If you cap with other gear, then the bliault adds 0% potency, making it a worse curing piece than Bliaud.

22% Staff
10% Head
3% Neck
2% Ear
5% Ear
5% Hands+Feet
3% Back
= 50%. Although Augur Gloves + Mind feet is better than Serpentes' 5% Cure Pot.

And the Enhance: Affatus Solace is the important part, not the healing magic skill.

I have 12% which is just enough to hit 50% with my current set up. I've done around 25 whm bodies to get it.

I've not counted my actual attempts, but I'm somewhere in the 45-50 range myself. My current one has curepot +10/conserve MP +2/enmity -1 for it's augments. I'm not sure how many more I'm going to actually churn through, since I'm getting sick of converting trophies and would rather just deal for the time being while finishing the AF3 +2 instead.

After 10 tries I got 9% cure potency with refresh on it. 10 more tries later I got a 13% cure potency with no refresh. I keep both.

Over 60 tries and haven't seen anything higher than 7%.

Think I'm around my 60th try. New record:
Refresh+1
Spell interrupt -3%
Cure Potency +12%

I got mine first try with cure+12% refresh and -4 enmity :). After give away my HQ noble's i think i should be very greatful, didnt know it was rare till i saw this thread. Still ^^, it has an extra -4 enmity than Noble tunic, smn can use it too. Also got a hat with -1 avarta cost and - enmity first try.

I managed to luck out on 5MAB literae coat first time.

Never any luck with the facio though.

I fail to see why people need Refresh on a Facio Bliaut, period. You don't idle in it (that's what Noble's/Pluviale/Bliaud +1/+2 are for), you macro it in for cures, then take it off. If there's any true secondary augment you want in addition to Potency+13/14%, then it's Conserve MP; not Refresh.

Not everyone feels the same. Yes you can use the other slots to cap cure potency (about 7or 8 i believe), but some want as strong a cure as possible. Cure potency is obviously the top priority to increase cure strength. Second to that would be mnd. 4 pieces for cure potency and the rest for mnd > 8 pieces for cure potency and the rest for mnd. If you don't have a 14% Facio, it's gonna take up alot of slots to get that when you could just be stacking up more mnd. The only benefit i see to having orison is an extra 100-200(if that much) stoneskin. You'll need it since your cures don't add up to someone maxing potency & mnd.
